I can smell the saltwater.

I can smell the saltwater.

Alil bit more progress.

I had time today to pickup my sump!

Thx to the guys at MDS-(Marine Design Systems) for an excellent job in a timely fashion. It meets all of my criteria and then some.

I should be able to pickup my frag tank durimg the week and setup my stand for it in a very limited space to the left of my tank.
I will be using an aquamedic pendant that should also be here during this week.

As far as the rest a little plumming job during the week and some more aesthetics inside the tank and viola~!

BTW THX to CRF(Coral Reef Farm) for always been available and providing those little things that u always need at odd times as well as some argonite sand- GETTING CLOSER HOMIE !!!!

Here's some pics of my new sump design carbon copy of "hillary's"

Notice the eggcrate area that will serve as detritus trap(excuse not to use filter bags) simply cut some filter pad and throw away every 2-3 days.

looking good Manny, Looking forward to see the end product
U and me both buddy.
This week will be fast tracking to get things done. Took half a week off to get this thing flowing.

Just got my frag tank table in - thx Mr Rigau( took down to legs and secured them back in place once the stand was where it was suposed to be)

frag tank 23/30/13 tall. roughly 40 gallons shallow tank.

Looking good. I got a couple of questions:

1. Is the frag tank going to be plumbed into the main tank?

2. Are you adding a separate refugium?

Just wait until you get that BK running. By far the easiest skimmer I've ever setup, and the thing just works! Only knock I've found so far is that it does emit micro-bubbles in the effluent. I'm extremely happy w/mine & I'm sure you'll be so with yours too. Now that I'm feeding five little fish, I'd swear I get back more waste than the amount of food I'm putting in.
