You're going to have to feed your fish a lot. Their metabolism is going to be running in overdrive with all the calories they're going to be burning in there. If you turn the pumps all on high, it will probably look like a jacuzzi.

You've never seen Manny feed his fish before.... :p

Manny,

If you have a kill-a-watt meter, I'd love to know what your BK mini200 is pulling in watts. The sticker on mine says 38 watts, but both my original motor block and the replacement motor block draw 43 watts. I really don't care about 5 watts, I'd just like to know if maybe something wasn't machined correctly with my impeller or volute causing some extra drag (which could explain my first motor's problem).

Yeah, I'd say that is an understatement!

Three 6100s, a pair of mp40s, and eductors in a 195 gallon tank...

Yes I tried the pumps on high and the water level needs to be to low for it to stay in the tank. Not worried since the rocks and corals will help in the future.

As far as feeding "if u can't catch it u can't eat it"
;)

Some more work done.

Finally the web is complete- 3 reactors/UV/frag tank( pending but plumming is done) all with one pumps and no added electrical costs plus no added heat.
Just need to play with my aquatronica to control my reactor(calcium) as well as my level in the skimmer section to avoid it overflowing.

Looking Nice, Good job! When are the corals and fishes coming?
soon mr Watson soon;)

Gasman, everytime I see your sump area, I want to redo my area with you present to direct me. I don't have the organization skills you have.

Very good job.

Looks great Manny!

Couple questions for ya... where do you get the filter floss/what kind do you use? I know I've seen different companies use that stuff for packing materials, but I dont recall seeing it for sale before (however, I've never looked for it). Do you just keep some sheets cut up to replace as necessary? How often do you plan on replacing?

Also, have you decided how you're going to "skin" your steel stand? I've got a couple ideas for mine, but nothing is set in stone yet.

Any filter pad will do- the one used for wet and dry filters.

I cut them up and replace them as necessary evry week or so depending on how much detritus.

Skin will be wood to match my office furniture.

Very, very nice. I really like the fact that none of the rock is touching the rear glass. Looks much more natural that way. Can you turn up the volume on the pumps more now, or do they still need to be throttled down to keep the sand on the bottom?

Must likely yes when all is set and done they will be full blast.

One of the main purposes of this aqua and tank is to avoid the detritus accumulation thus there's that big gap around the structure to facilitate flow.

Hey buddy thx that sand is the best sand I've seen in this hobby in d last 15 years

Btw thx again for your help and expertise

Here's another plug for the top clonws in town CRF
