I finally got aorund to re-arranging some corals and trading out those that did not meet future criteria. The tank is starting to like its new photoperiod.

Currently running my Mh's 4.5-5 hrs total, and that seems to be the magical number, now if I can just keep on top of the tank hopefully by jan-feb next year the tank's first b-day will be a good one.

I just realized that last november I was messing around with this tank and creating this build. Well so far so good and no major changes planned- lights and system is where I want it so now just patience.

Well maybe I'll upgrade my skimmer soon enuff LOL

awesome tank man! Dont yo have a bk with sch? How can you upgrade!! lol.

Also, your vortechs cords on the dry side are facing down. i attach mine above to give it support. have you had any trouble with them "upside down" seems to look much nicer.

bigger BK - no troubles with vortechs great complement to my 3x 6100 tunzes

I clened them today and had to lower them to about half their previous setup since they have not been cleaned in 8 months or so .
