Hi

Hi

I just recieved my doser2 unit.
I just wondered what kind off sensors i Can be using for the auto top off? Can Any sensor be pluged in if it is with the right type of plug?
And if i buy a Y-splitter, is it correct i Can plug in an extra sensor for safety, if the first one fails to stop the pump?

And another question.
In what kind of use Can i be using a temperature probe? Can i do Any controlling whit this unit? Is it possible to connect a GHL powerbar and use it Like a computer?

Big News!!

With the changes we have been working with GHL on since November and also the very small market in Canada we made the strong decision to cease distribution of GHL GmbH in the aquarium sector.

As you will see on their official announcement GHL are setting up a similar outfit to that of Royal Exclusive where they will sell direct from a base in the USA to dealers and possibly end users. Support will be centralized to Germany.

However Aqua Digital Inc is to continue to build the growing research laboratory business for GHL that we have been working on for 18 months now, already seeing large systems go into facilities such as Huntington Cancer research center in Utah, this is important and dedicated work which we plan to grow immensely for GHL

We still will be around for dealer support but all client support has been moved to Germany now.

Dealers will have access to stock that we will not be using in the research sector at large discount which we will see passed onto end users.

We are very proud of our 8 years of solid work with GHL as they are of us and leading consistently the global dealer sales map seen here has not been easy to achieve in such a competitive market.

Wow this is terrible news Michael. I'm sorry to hear things have gone this way. You provided a much needed bridge between myself and support in Germany. Thanks for all you have done.

Curious what other users are getting when calibrating their pumps? my dosing container is right under the unit and has to pump about 16 1/2" to the center of the dosing head then It pumps aprox 17" back and 18" to the left the line drops aprox 6" during this run. I am dosing through blue aquarium tubing no hard bends or elbows or anything like that. I am pumping 37 ml/min with max speed set to 3 (fast). Im really curious what others are getting.

I got my doser 2 last week.
I found it didn't work normally.

only manual dose by pressing buttom inside the GHL Control Center.
But didn't in program.

I setup a program and it didn't dose anything.

anyone have same experience?

Hi guys,
I really got away from monitors and controllers in the past years. One reason was the darn probes where always a pain. The GHL seems nice and I have a few questions:
1. Can the monitor tell you when a probe is malfunctioning or bad?
2. What is the life of these probes?
Thanks!

There is only one probe and thats the temperature probe and GHL are not known for faulty probes to be honest, the GHL probe is also digital and highly accurate.

temp probes last for years literally.

Hi
Yes 1L is the instructed and required amount to get optimum accuracy.

Here is the copy and paste from the instructions
1. Set the desired Max.Speed of the pump.
2. Provide two roughly equal measuring containers and fill one with water (about 1 liter). Now turn the suction tube into the filled container and the other one into the empty container. Go to the GHL Control Center and click on calibrate the pump now. Follow the instructions.
3. After the procedure is completed, measure the amount of water that was pumped into the empty container and add the value to Flowrate of the pump in the GHL Control Center.

If you need more help just let us know or email me at info@ghlna.com;)

When you state "set the maximum speed of the pump" what exactly does this mean? Can you please clarify this for me. Thank you.

Phil.
