I keep getting the following message when trying to log into myghl

503 Service Unavailable

No server is available to handle this request.

Anyone else having these problems?

Finally found it at myghl.com and got to the main page, put in my info and did nothing when I hit submit. Tried to go back and said server not found. Does this site go down often?

OK so now not only do I get 503 server error but going back to my computer and trying to use the GHL control center, I hit manual dosing and the wheel on the screen turns but now none of the pumps on my doser turn. ***????

Great I took the server down. :eek1: Anyway, will try tomorrow. Does anyone know why after a firmware update that said was successful my doser now flashes blue on top instead of being solid blue? Also I cannot get any of the pumps to turn now even if I press a button manually on front of the doser.

Have you tried restarting the doser as i had to and it started working again

P.s its not just me having problems connecting to myghl.com lol

If you updated the doser and the LED flashes blue, there is a problem with the serial number and you need to set the serial number again. Send an e-mail to info@ghl-kl.de with your serial number (sticker on the bottom side) and ask for support.

Ok thanks Artur for getting my up and going again. Still not able to connect to myghl even though I am able to connect via wifi. I am running an apple airport modem. Has anyone else experienced any issues here with connecting to myghl with their doser?

THanks

you proberly have to add a route in your router, to allow outside trafic to connect to the doser unit on the inside of your lan..

Thanks Jerel. I would just change routers if I knew for a fact that was it but then I have to reconfigure my apex and every other internet appliance in my house. Control 4 AV system,,,,don't even want to think about having to do that.

No idea on how to do it, but typical when you get internet, the provider gives you a router, on that router people usaly put their own equiptment, so its hard to tell 100% with out knowing how everything is setup. But in order for the outside internet to acces to inside, it needs to be routed through your routers. If you have 2 routers, the one from your internet provider, and your own, it can get a bit more tricky, as you have 2 networks on your side, that you need to route it through. If the airport is the only router you have, then you it should be enought with that..

sorry i cant be more precise.

Anyone know if the Doser 2 pumps can be reversed so the rubber tubes point up? I'd like to put it flat on something.

Answer to my previous question is yes. It was very simple. Just unclip, pull out, flip, push in and reclip.

Also, for anyone trying to setup myGHL or connect over your LAN there are a few things you should know. My Doser came with firmware 1.12.

A. You can use their auto detect to find your wireless network. Sometimes it doesn't see it right away but it eventually does. I statically assigned an IP address. Tested ping from my desktop to validate.

B. You can connect to the Doser 2 via a web browser by entering the IP. There's a limited interface there where you can change Administrator and network settings as well as update firmware. That's it. The web interface is not the Control Center.

C. Once you get the Doser 2 addressed and on your network, able to ping, create a new network TCP/IP connection using the Administrate button of the Control Center. Enter the IP address of the Doser. Port number didn't matter, I left it as is. Make sure the Doser is not connected to your PC via USB. Then click the connect button for your new network connection. You should be able to get to access it wirelessly, unless you're using a cabled connection.

D. After all that is done, then you can setup myGHL. Don't try to setup myGHL until you do all that first. I spent a long time trying to add the Doser to myGHL when it was connected via USB and not connected via USB, but still network addressed. It didn't matter. Only after you've created your new network connection and connect to it with the Control Center will myGHL see the Doser and it's the only way you can get the Verification code required for myGHL.

These things were not very clear in the instructions. Someone should spend some time re-writing those. It would be a simple effort and save a lot of people a lot of time and frustration.
