It was actually some pretty sneaky photo trickery. I shot the Hawk in the shadows against a dark area of a wooded hillside. Since the hawk was very close the focus was right on the bird and with a little altering of levels the background came out almost black.

Patiently waiting to see what this piece will do. It's been oscillating between brown, green, and bleached :lol: The only thing I am somewhat certain of is that this is probably an A. elegans, the reason I even took a chance on it.

Didn't do anything specific. They pick at the rocks and sand all day long. Don't really see them eating the food fed to the tank in general.

Well, here is my lazy reefer's FTS :lol: I wished I had the energy to scrape the tank clean. Just focus on the corals and fish and don't look at the tank walls......LOL
I will start including some photo info with each shot so everyone will have some idea of the parameters.
FTS - on a tripod, lens 18-55mm, f/4, shutter 1/50, ISO 125
Right side - lens 24-70mm, f/5, shutter 1/50, ISO 200
Left side - lens 24-70mm, f/4.5, shutter 1/30, ISO 160
