I'm sorry for your loss Reefaholic. It sounds like you maybe need to just slow down a bit when dealing with these things. I'm not suggesting you don't know what you're doing, but maybe all of the excitement is part of the cause of the mistakes? You know much much more about these things then I even pretend to know, but just from following along in some of your threads I can see where it may have reared it's head in this incident. Either way man, your passion for these things is great and I hope you keep at it. Like you said, it's a learning experience for all of us.

Thank you again for the tip on the QT light. My GBTA is responding amazingly to it. Now if only I can figure out what this crap on his mouth is, he may be ready for a ride to the DT in another few weeks.

One thing I want to add in this thread:

I knew this anemone was close to done for one reason. When you see a Magnifica start to loose tentacles by shriveling up and turning brown resembling tiny little worms, you're in big trouble. I've only been able to save one at this point. Their usually unresponsive to antibiotic therapy at this stage and begin to rapidly decrease in size. All you can do is sit there helplessly.
