As many of you know, I have been trying to get my aquarium up and running, for a while now (2 years...what can I say, I've been a little busy at work!).

Well, it's finally in place, and almost ready to grow! I'm just working on a few minor things.

But before I start telling and showing you what my "Lil' ol Nano" looks like now... let me take you back....WAY BACK.

A long, long time ago, in a small condo in South Florida, a man had a dream.

Calcium Reactor:
Something custom-built I'm currently working on.

Refugium:
For Chaeto
48" x 24" x 12"
59 gallons

Some things may change. I'm still working out some kinks.

The following thread, has been a long time coming. I couldn't have possibly done it without the help of some very, special people:

First I want to thank Loredana for the long, long nights, and very early mornings of noise pollution (sorry for all the tongue lashings... but you know I like everything to be perfect!), Joe and Bonnie, John, and Tommy at Green Thumb, Bob and Karen, Lance, Ray, Carl and Eric, Mike and Cup, Charlie, Joe "NYVP," and last, but most certainly not least, David.

Myself and my friend Michael, in the filtration room, priming the room for the Epoxy paint.

Oh...thats a stand. I thought it was part of a bridge. Good luck. This is going to be a great project. Can't wait to see more.

Only two years in the prep/planning stage...doesn't seem like long enough to me.

Looks like a great start.

Great looking tank. I want to see more, hook up some more pictures please.

I think that large square panel behind your tank is the base for mine... My tank is being built by exotic aquariums right now as well. Please PM me and let me know what you think about the quality of their product. I can't wait to get my tank from them, I have heard nothing but good things.

I currently have a stock 200 but if and when I upgrade again I would not consider anybody else except exotic. Many excellent recomendations and good results over the years, from many customers.

Guys-
Thanks for all the kind words....I will post some more pics soon.

Bob & Karen build beautiful aquariums.

Von Rahvin- The Overflow box is 30x9x19.

Very nice tank Jeff. Look forward to the completed tank. Set up. I saw the pictures in the link you posted above, and I have to say that is the cleanest set up I have seen in a long time. I mean, it is as if the laws of physics bent to prevent condensation and dust from happening on the equipment LOL...................
