How rare is this?

This thread seriously needs more current pictures! PLEASE!
I would like to see some more critters found in, on and around the rocks.

Just got around to download these pics form Sunday. Tried to get some closeups of the LR and bottom for you. A lot oft he pics were taken from below the bridge.

This area was spectacular. The closer you got the more incredible it was.

Samll shark again.

All of the LR that you can see is exactly how it was found. In between was coral rubble and sand.

Lewy, you would think the color of the acro's would have a more vibrant color being in low waters. Also what do you mean you have to go to work? Do you know how much money you could be bringing in on just the live rock. Wish I had what you have in my back yard. I have an idea, I'll trade you a blue gill. Straight out of the Missouri river here in St. Louis MO. USA

Keep posting!!!

i pretty sure there are laws that prohibit extraction of corals and what not but do you suppose there is something wrong(against the laws) about maybe placing a few pieces of base rock and wait a year or so and reclaiming it?

i know in other states of Aus it is illegal to collect without license but not sure about NT, it is also illegal to put anything in such as base rock etc in these states.

I cannot get bored when I come to this thread, really envy the author that can drive and walk around in a reef on the low tides, really love to come back often and see what new discoveries are made :)

i enquired as to the legalities of it heres the email
You can legally collect coral/live rock from most areas of the NT provided it is only for personal display. You may not sell, barter or trade the product in any way. No collection should occur from places such as East Point in Darwin Harbour or certain areas of Marine parks such as Cobourg
