I need help...having diffeculties with my zoa's!

i haven't taken it out yet...i was so tired last night that i forgot to...anyway i wanted to ask you something first...i have another mushroom on the rock my zoa's are on. It's not touching the zoa's its about an inch away but i was wondering if that could be affecting them?

Corallimorpharians can send out long tentacles (mesentia?) that can sting and kill all other life around them.
It would be wise to remove it.;)

reef junkie im planning on taking out the mushroom and i would also like to do a freshwater dip! have you every done one and would you mind telling me how or a good link would be cool too!

Thanks!

i hope so! i just ripped out the mushroom, so well see if that helps!?!

i was wondering something...is there a type of preditor that eats the zoa's skirts? because i believe that my zoa's dont have a skirt anymore!?! or they just never open far enough to show them...

really...geez...i have no idea what to do with these zoa's...it been so long since we first started this thread and i've had some ups and now it seems to be back down...maybe zoa's just aren't my thing...i just dont know what to do about them anymore...tonight when i get home from work im going to do a freshwater dip just becasue maybe it will help...

Or hurt...
Freshwater works wonders, but it can kill too.
I'm going to have to take field trip out to your house. I'm pretty good at finding problems in reef tanks.

im going to give the dip a try...i have everything set to what the link calls for...wish me luck!

i was also suggested to put my zoa's either in my fuge (i dont run 24/7) or to place a contianer with some holes in it overtop...

what do you think!?! you can take a trip out haha!

ok so last night i did my freshwater dap and i really looked over the entire rock...if im correct at what i saw, then i had many (maybe up to 20) nudi branch egg sacks on the bottum of my rock...i took tweezers and i picked off and scrapped up the bottum of that rock...i think i got it all...but i dont know...

On the bottom of the rock?
They might have been sponges, got a pic?
Normally, nudi's lay their eggs on the side of the zoas.

no...no pic way to tiny to get a pic out of...hopefully they were all spounges but just in case haha there all gone (they fit the description of nudi sack eggs) i didn't see anything on the side of the zoa's that looked suspicious!?!

my actinics just came on so maybe they'll open up becuase they didn't last night...

i cant get a good pic of them...there all blurry...are you hoping to find something? if you tell me what you might be looking for i could try to describe to you...
