At 30 inch I would probably do the 400s with 20k radiums. That is a little taller than Bryan's tank. He likes them.
Yup, let me know when Erik. Love the fixture.Very nice Ian!! Fixture looks great! Glad it worked out for both of usI need to make it on over soon to check the tank out in person.
Its up to you but there isn't a huge difference is wattage from the 250s and 400s. The 250s run best over driven, while the 400s do not.I was thinking of going w/the 250's since there won't be much coral in there initially, but you recommend going with 400's from the get go ?
Thanks, its been a long time coming.Looks awesome man, great job with everything!
Yeah, its just too bad I lost a lot of my grown out sps in the tank move. Can't wait till they grow in.Very, very nice tank and equipment... it will look amazing once those corals grow...
So it was your tank, haha. How long ago was it built? Did I do you proud? That tank and sump looks familiar.
i remember getting it made and planning that out.
youve done an awesome job
Thanks Mark, when are you making your next trip to my next of the woods.Wow Ian, The set up looks great. Congrats
Its a sfiligoi. I am running 3 SE 250w 20k radiums on magnetic hqi ballasts and 8x39w T5HO (4 uvl super actinic, 4 blue plus).what kind of fixture is that,is it just MH on there with T5s,interesting canopy light.
Thanks, that is what I was going for. Lots of open swimming space but still lots of real estate for sps.Nice tank and love the rockwork,I like the minimalist looking arrangement, would like to redo mine because it looks like rubble all over the place.
Cool, don't worry. I won't sell it (at least not for a long time).i wanna say i got it 3-4yrs ago but cant remember off the top of my head.
you've done very very well! im glad its being put to good use. wish i still had it :/
dont ever sell it! lol
Thanks Mark, when are you making your next trip to my next of the woods.
