Hey guys! I'm Lindsey, I'm 27 and live in Rhode Island. Any other fellow Rhode Islanders on here?! I've had my first 75 gallon reef tank up and running for about a year and a half, but I finally just joined this site! I'm sure my friends are sick of hearing me talk about it all the time [emoji39] so I'm super excited to be part of a community that understands the addiction haha

Hi everyone, I'm Matt, I am from the UK and have been in this great hobby for 6 years. I run a 180 gallon SPS reef and looking forward to being part of the community :)

Hey ya'll ! I'm so glad this group was established as I have so many questions about my tank. It's a 75 gallon tank that I've had about a year. The folks that set it up for me do the maintenance weekly on it . I wanted to show yall a picture of my toad stool to see if someone could tell me what's wrong with it. I've read some of the posts and they say magnesium problem but I've checked with the lady who test the water and she said that the mag level was fine. You can see what it looked like when I first put it in the tank. It started looking bad so she (the maintenance lady) moved it in another spot and now it's really bad. Any suggestions?

Hello everyone. My name is Chris. I'm 38 & live in Houston, TX. I have a pretty high stress job, so my doc says it'd be best to find a hobby to help take the edge off since I don't drink! Anyway, I've decided to give this a try. I've been tooling around the forums for a few weeks now and just joined yesterday to be able to search and find some threads I had read before. I am preparing to get a setup going, will probably buy used to get going as economically as possible and after reading some advice on here. Looking forward to figuring out how all this mass of information goes together!

Hey. I'm Joel and I've been lurking on this and other forums for a while. I set up a 30 gallon reef tank back in July. It has been going well. I'm using hob equipment and have a mix of sps, lps, zoas and rics along with a rbta, two ocellaris clowns and a stary blenny. I just scored a great deal on a 90 so a build thread and many questions will be forth coming.

So these guys piggybacked on some Zoas that i bought and I am not sure what they are. At first i thought they might be some type of worm but now they really resemble an elegance coral without the skeleton base. They feed themselves much like an elegance and seem to have mouths. I have no clue what they are but they seem to be thriving. Any help would be much appreciated.
