Jackson's 115 Gallon Custom Cube 32x32x26

Looking good as ever Richard :) Hope you have another successful year at reefing, keep it up, you have a touch for sps!

Can't beat the warm luv of mh..
Still love this tank..
Now that the mh has been on for a while, the tops downs much look NICE!!
No pressure.. :)

So I put the halide back on last month lol. I still have the 10 bulb ATI and I plan on putting it back on before summer starts :) I just love the halide. It's so pleasing to the eye and keeps my home nice and warm in the winter lol. Running 14k Aqua connect right now.

I decided to clean the tank up. Some of the faster growers, mainly montis + stylos, took over since the mini crash that I had in the spring. Flow was greatly reduced, and so was available real estate. Here's what it looks like now. Going to leave it alone now and let it grow out again.

Still looking awesome rich!
I love the aquascape and as soon as the corals grow it'll look even better:beer:
"Going to leave it alone now and let it grow out again. "....such a hard thing to do.At least for me:p

That coral at the back(middle) where is it placed?Glass or on some rock of the left island?

Thanks Perry. Going to try my best :) I have a new baby on the way (my first) this May. Between my busy season at work being during that time, along with a new baby, this might be my last shot to have as much commitment for the tank.... at least for a while :hmm3:

Thanks Mike. I hope I like the way it looks when it grows in. I think the placement of stags and tabling corals will work ok for a while. That big middle tenuis is growing off of a branch that in wedged into the base rock. That colony has grown pretty large. It's toward the back of the tank encrusted onto the branch, but it has grow forward directly under the halide. That coral handles as much light as I can give it.

Congratulations!

Gotta get it set up and ready to roll, then just give it a year to grow with low to no maintenance as you tend to family, and then come back with a cube absolutely filled with corals.

Congrats Richard,
My daughter is turning 18 this year, and trust me it goes by fast! If your reef skills are any indicator of your parenting, you will make one terrific dad, again CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Wow, we are in the same stage, my son turns 18 this year as well:eek: It doesn't seem that long ago that he was just a little guy.

Congrats Richard, enjoy being a dad! It's pretty great, except the not sleeping part:lol:

Looking great buddy. I must admit, I prefer the look of the Radium. Dont know how true to life these photos are, but the appearance looks very much like my Radion setup.

Thank you so much guys. I'm excited and nervous about fatherhood :) Just like reefing right? Lots of feeding and heavy nutrient export? Diaper changes lol

Sahin, those last few pics are being lit with a 14k Aquaconnect. In person this bulb has a slight pink hue to it, but still a blue spectrum. The white balance made this photo look slightly more blue than what I see in person. Ironically, these photos look true to life when I am running a radium halide :)

Fatherhood is an adventure. My kids are 16, 15 and 13. Be prepared for the 3-P's for the first few years.

Rich, congrats on the Limited Edition Rich Frag  It can be tough at times, but well worth it...I know...I got 3 of em.
