Jebao Cross Flow Pump

First of all Jebao is not a copy of Ecotech and secondly all you did is a fast Google search.

First of all, I know that. That's what putting something in quotes signifies.

Second of all, that's the joy of the Information Age chief. It only takes a quick Google search. If the same information is repeated a few times by a few credible sources, it's likely true. Which apparently you failed to do before you made a radical claim that the some of biggest names in the Aquarium hobby somehow aren't making money hand over fist.

Would you have been more Inclined to believe it had I xeroxed a book I checked out of the public library, highlighted the information and mailed it to you?

Anyway. There is no bigger proponent in the universe for a totally free market than me. Just look at the economic boom going on overseas compared to the slump that's been going on here over the past 10 years. If that's not an example of "we ain't doin it right", I don't know what is.

I'm out man. It's Been real fun discussing the finer points of American suffocation of small business, but frankly in every jebao thread? Really? Every one?

Once someone has some actual product information I'll participate. Until then, peace.

Hm, a lot of armchair attorneys in here! Anyone have more info on release date? I hope this thing will be compatible with the JBwave I just ordered!

That's going on the dead side of my frag tank lol!

looks like the many thin blades instead of the fewer "rugged" blades maxspect is switching too. I wonder if they will too. Funny name as that's part of the gyre's marketing. "Revolutionary Crossflow Water Movement Technology"

Well it looks exactly the same as the Maxspect product and it is going to be marketed under the same name as the the patent title that Maxspect's parent company holds....is it coming from the same factory? is Guangzhou Maiguang Electronic Science Technology Co., Ltd. in this?...

Thanks for the pics

There's subtle differences in the look like that guards are angled.

Also, looks more like the original mounts that maxspect used compared to the newer style they switched too after getting noise complaints.

Frag tank is in a noisy room anyway... running another 4 QT tanks with HOB filters and air pumps lol

Let the Group Buys begin...

Wonder what the street price will be?!?!

I'd guess ~ $100 +/- 10 for the larger one.

Did some intahwebz sleuthing and really couldn't find anything about it. Was sure some Chinese site would have specs and a video. Looks pretty retail ready.

Earlier in the thread, there was a link posted to it.

As well as some pictures from Fish Street's Facebook has a another picture of the actual unit and also the controller.

I was really hoping for wireless connectivity between units, but I don't see any sign of it on the controller. Very disappointing.

I'm sure they'll add it down the line.

Could always get an APEX adapter and let the APEX do the heavy lifting.

I have our RW/WPs wired like that on our big system.

On the frag tank, just running two RW15s wirelessly synced. Still haven't got around to adding a controller to that tank.

Having apex control the direction, speed, and timing is awesome! If they don't provide that integration I wonder if the IceCap could work for those like they do the maxspect.

That would require owning an Apex. My cheap a** can't quite justify spending the money on a controller just yet.
