Jebao Cross Flow Pump

I liked the WP series of pumps. The DC return pumps stink on ice. I'm concerned about RW series of pumps because when connected to a controller that turns them on and off, snails can crawl through grill work when pump is off and foul the pump. So I will definitely wait for reviews from initial buyers before deciding whether to buy a Jabao gyre pump.

It's more of a pulse. RW pumps are just amazing

What don't you like about the DC pumps? I have a 6000 and it's been going fine for a year despite my never having cleaned it (I know, I know...)

I can't wait for these to come out. I currently have 2x rw8 controlled by JBwave. I bet these things will be great with the JBwave.

Apparently according to all of these ludicrous threads jebao did. That's why I put copied in parenthesis.

Oh I'm not suggesting that they are making too much money. There is no such thing in my mind. Let them make as much as possible. I was simply trying to illustrate their growth curve to refute your claim that they were not turning a good profit.

wait what?? this makes no sense..i deal with financials all day and if you are going to compare growth curve, it has to be revenue with revenue or profit with profit. can't do revenue with profit unless you are showing a type of trend.

you are comparing apples with oranges....also, i am curious where you found out ecotech revenue as they aren't a public company and are not require to provide financial information to the public.

man i had horrible luck with the wps. all 8 died within 6-8 months...i have two dc 8k that i haven't used yet because i don't want that to fail on me.

I'm curious about the knock on the DC pumps as well. I have 4 of the original DC12000 pumps. Two are in sumps on 400g and 200g systems and the third is an external running a closed loop. The 4th is sitting on a shelf (2 years now) waiting for a failure... I hope it has to wait a long time. I think these pumps are great, quiet and very cool running.

Waiting for this to appear in the states. but I think its gonna be a while

Kind of doubt it, I'm sure it won't be far behind the Chinese release.

Also I'm running two DC9000s and two DCT4000 returns and they seem rock solid. One power supply went out, but it was replaced quickly by Eric at FS.

The 9000s have been running for about 2 years.

That's going on the dead side of my frag tank lol!

i cannot seem to find the link

No idea. I want two though. Need to get the flow in the corners churned up.

Then I'll have Two RW 15s and two gyre pumps in a 55g? Hahahaha

Nope, there is quite a bit of special grade in there, though the center is blown bare at this point.

Go big or go home, man. I thought I'd hate the look of bare bottom, but I honestly don't notice it anymore. It's definitely less jarring than deep sand dunes in parts and bare glass in others.

Not to mention cleaning is much easier.
