Jebao Cross Flow Pump

I never owned a gyre. I've had tunze, eco tech, and hydor. All I know is it pushes some serious flow and I ditched all my powerheads after that video I posted. I am super pleased SO FAR. Longevity is another thing with these pumps. My tunze is 7 years old so reliability is a big thing with me. The rws I have are a year old so I've been super happy.

What are your tank dimensions? Are all the other pumps off including the return?

It's 48 inches long I'll get you the other dimensions. I had a tunze stream on one side, an mj1200, and a hydor 1400. The only thing on was the return. I'll make another video later with the return off. It's a jebao dc pump

From the manual...

"self protective function"

This is the part I really hope jebao got right as I feel one of the issues with the maxspect is that those safety features are what causes the pump to be unresponsive (perhaps they are set too sensitive on the maxspect). The safety measures should be dialed way down to allow the power of the motor to have every chance to overcome an issue on its own first.

On jebao's wp/rw line of pumps they didn't include a safety shutdown feature (which is the way it should be as I don't want the electronics causing issues that raw power through the pump might eventually overcome); if they had the line probably would have been a truly epic failure...

I have them set at 5 notches on the tank and I can't hear a thing. Only if I press my ear to the glass. The video had it at full blast so what you hear is in full gear.
