Any news on controlling cp40 using apex ???

i actually broke down and ordered the Aqualink T1 (you need one for each pump)

They are not cheap, but it has several pretty nice features, and allows you to have up to 3 CP40s in sync

I have them in hand by the way, so they are not impossible to get :)

Hey guys,
Got mine yesterday!

Perfect pump, so far really impressed.

I've order from https://www.aquaticdeal.com/en/

Got it at promotional rate (if you want also contact them, I got mine for 112$ include shipping) which Is the cheapest I could find, got it in 12 days which is super quick to my country.

Generally great pump and also impressed from the service I've got.

Guys, is anyone use Aqualink controller?

I checked the link. The web page looks like any kid can build, and the whois record is private. The SSL certificate was issued last 4/29/2016 and lasts only 3 months. I would not risk saving $20 over losing $110.

Don't know about the rest of the stuff, but the website looks fine to me. It's a clean-cut modern design, the logo is alright, they've put some effort into making customer graphics for the 'loyalty program' and their social network tab, navigation is clearly organized and works well. The only design issues I saw were that the 'blog' button in the navigation bar doesn't work, and the customer testimonials are currently just lorem ipsum place holder text. If nothing else, they're putting up a solid front.

A 12 year old can build that using templates from a website builder. That is how a "typical" scam website looks like. Unsuspecting people fall for this very easily. Whether is it a scam website or not, I do not know (but it has all the tell tale signs), but just saying not worth the risk. caveat emptor.

I don't order from any website that has a headshot picture of a woman with a headset...

But everyone had that back in the day. As a kid, I remember shopping on Tiger Direct and assuming that woman actually worked there. Now I'm a graphic designer and see 20 versions of that a day browsing through stock photo sites for other things. haha

Well guys I know that I've ordered and got the parcel, the design doesn't mean anything to me.

Anyway, can someone share a review of Aqualink controller with me? is that really worth it?

Lol yeah that's totally true.

I'm old though, the Internet didn't exist when I was a kid.

Really Ben, you're that old? :fun5:

Me too!

Lol, reminds me of gran Torino.

You should see me when they start playing grab-*** around my car. I was informed while I was on vacation, one of the little hooligans hit my car with a plastic bat. In my neighborhood, at least I can be thankful it was plastic. I considered mounting an inquisition, but I try not to stir up the natives too much.

Actually the moulds and components are different. I have a pair of CP-40's which haven't missed a beat yet. The Maxspects are manufactured in China, by a Chinese company (Maxspect), so this isn't a useful comparison.

I bought the Cross Flows over the MaxSpects as a test to see if they were any good and if paying two/three times the price was worth it. I have to say having spoken to a couple of Gyre owners who have also bought cross flows, I'm happy with my decision.

They have reported the build quality is at least as good, if not better and the Cross Flows produce marginally more flow. (I don't think there is much in it TBH).

Just waiting for the Apex integration to come out now which is my only real niggle.

It doesn't look like they are in big hurry to have apex support. They are pushing the Aqualink T1
