Leonardo's Lagoon

The one thing about using a multi-controller is that you get data back from the system you can graph and use to evaluate tank conditions, husbandry methods, etc. Something to consider.

You had me a bit startled with the coral and garden rock pics! I thought, wow, this is going to be a real lagoon in your back yard...

Cool updates. Anxiously awaiting photos of the tank filled once again. I need more inspiration from all the reef tank gurus here to keep me going! :)

Jeff; Of course I went there ;) Sanjay's and Anthony's lectures were very interesting.

Jonathan; You're right. That information can be very interesting, when making changes in your husbandry etc. Maybe I do have to look into it. btw, no Lagoon in the backyard! In winter it would be covered in ice over here :D

Thanks Kenny! I'll give an update as soon as I have more progress to show. :)

Mark, I'm not a footballer, why are you asking? :D

I was there too, and yes I agree very good, well worth the trip over. Had I known you were there I probably would have aksed you lots of questions about your tanks.

Jeff.

Marco, Ruud and Frank were all great players from that team, but Johan Cruyff was a legend way before they came around ;)

For a second, when images loaded, the fist one I saw was the one with the small stone on the background looking like a fresh water tank :o lol I was shock for .5 second hahha

I can't wait for your new scape

I was wondering what happen to your overflow teeth. A couple of teeth are broke of. Did you break them of for more flow to the sump ?

You're right Mark, cool you know all the Dutch players :)

Haha, I won't return to freshwater, don't be afraid. I actually found a picture last week of me being 4 years old with a 10 gallon Goldfish tank on a cabinet next to my pillow.
I still remember me rescaping the tank while being in bed :p

I did broke every other teeth out, unfortunately sometimes two teeth broke of (the teeth are made of trespa) So it didn't gave me a clean look. Maybe I'll replace it later with a new one. I actually have a nett. return of 1450 gallon/hour, and even this 44" overflow couldn't handle that :p

Thanks Leo, I am a huge aficinado of the game. I used to live it more than reefking. That goal that Marco scored in the Euro's could be the greatest goals every scored. I guess, Back to reefing :p

It took me about 2 days to read through this entire thread (trying to compete with all the weekend activities). I've really enjoyed the read so far and I look forward to keeping up with the new build.

Leonardo, you've got an exciting career ahead of you! Good luck with everything and i'll be following along.

Thank you Ryan! :) Glad you hear that you like the build.
I borrowed a Nikon with several lenses for this week, so I have to hurry and finish the aquascape so I can make some good photo's :)
