Majestic Angelfish Bloated on one side..

Hello,

I have a Majestic Angelfish for the last 3 years.
Since last month she is having a bulge on the right side
of her tummy! Else she is absolutely normal.. healthy..playful.. feeding well...
First i thought it might be constipation and will go away gradually but it never did go away. Now its been more than a month.
Please advise me on the situation...

Could be a tumor of sorts maybe? Not much you can do for it unfortunately. If the fish is eating well and behaving normal I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

If this is a tumor then how could it develop in a week! Actually around a month back i noticed the buldge suddenly. I check my fish closely on a regular basis and i bet it was not thre before.

another possibility could be an intestinal infection of some sort. you can try adding kanaplex/focus to its food and hope it gets resolved.
You would do 1 spoon of frozen food, 1 scoop of kanaplex, 1 scoop focus. Mix and allow for it to get absorbed for about 30 min and then feed daily for min of 10 days. remaining portion can be frozen/refrigerated to be reused for next day.
