Mike's 200g

You've had great succes with your current Radion schedule.. I wouldn't change it..
As Matt said, it's pretty hard to do damage with t5..
I'd probably not change a thing but if I were feeling overly cautious, maybe I'd reduce the intensity by 20% and bring them back to your current settings over a couple months...

Thanks guys I am looking forward to it...and if red pink pigments become better it will be well worth it.
So plan will be (front to back). Blue plus, coral plus, radions, blue plus, coral plus.
Keep radion schedule same?

I took some pics yesterday. Just need to upload them to photobucket and resize. Hopefully I will find time tonight.

I honestly don't know whether changing the schedule is warranted. The T5s will fill in the gaps and help blanket the tank better, and they will push up the peak Par values where they overlap the Radion. Maybe cut the peak intensity of the Radions by 20% and keep a close eye on the corals to see their response.

You really are my Canadian Brother!

Sounds like everyone agrees. So it sounds like you guys are saying I should jump right in at 6 hours t5?
I was going to use a par meter and turn everything on them adjust radion intensity to give me par I want, then note that and acclimate up to it over 6 weeks.
When using a par meter to get readings do you turn off all flow? Also I was going to aim like 500ish around surface, hopefully a little over 200 on sand bed.

Mike, what resizing do you do in photobucket (or elsewhere)? I use photobucket but never resize anything..
Looking forward to new pics.

I don't turn the flow off. Those numbers sound good as a target range. I think 6 hours from the get-go will be fine.

I resize in photobucket to about 800x600 just so when I post pictures here they are not huge. They come off the camera much larger and would be too big for the screen to fit the whole picture.

Ok because last time I tried using a par meter I couldn't get a reading above 200 even an inch under the water. I was thinking that may be due to flow distorting the readings or something as I left it on.

Most of these are right off the camera. I have a custom wb setting and have a "picture"light setting I can put my radions in which has more white. Now and then some of them I have to adjust the "warmth" to get closer to real life... But is easy to overdo it and end up in toon town.
