Minh's new magnificent Magnifica

I got him in the DT last night. He is completely bleached. I guess the stress of shipping bleached him. If he does not recover in a week or two I will do zoos transplant on him. Will try a little feeding over the next few days.

Did he bleach after he was in the qt? Looked pretty good in your pics.

The water in the bag was cloudy and smell a little when I got him home. He just get lighter and lighter every day, and purging the zoox. Did not deflated.
The top down picture does not show that clearly but certainly the side picture does.
He is doing OK in DT but bleached. I wanted to get him to a stable place and feed and let him recover.

Deepsea,
I have 3 separate systems. total of 5 tanks, not counting the sumps

Somebody text me pictures of some of the anemones from AC. Seem like they have a few nice green Malu, possibly a green Crispa (or large Malu)

I think they are all malu. All were less than 6" and all were in the sand bed. The green ones are very healthy, the purple ones seem to be on the decline. It's too bad because the color on those are very nice -- same color as a purple gig but with more purple color.

I almost bought it yesterday on their eBay auction. It sold for $26+shipping. If I knew for fact it were Malu I would have bid on it. However, it was listed as H. Crispa and given my hesitation on ID I deferred to their description. Hence I passed. They're great looking nems.

I agree, I believe they were all Malu...they had the distinct banding on their tentacles. I don't believe the purple one were declining though. I purchased one of them on Sunday, and it seems to have settled in my tank. Fully open, I think it's only 2-3" in diameter. The greens were much larger.

We shall see...

Picture of my Magnifica today, under daylight. Bleached but I think he will be fine. My purple tipped Magnifica just right behind him.

My Magnifica continue to do well. I think he is out of the wood, but still bleached. Picture taken at about 10:40 AM today.

Yea, I got the other half with the blue gig. It's doing really well but the mouth never seems to look totally normal.
This is a pic before the lights came on this morning with just ambient room light. The mouth pretty much constantly looks like this

Was at Aquatic Collection today...still have three nice green malu, pictured above. Two red haddoni (one around 8-10" one 10-12"...I think) very nice, one HUGE green haddoni, guessing 18" diameter. And also still had the bleached magifica still there, looking better as well.
