Mo's 1000G SPS Tank

Wow Mo,
Looks amazing, are you going to keep the cable tie on the abro and just let it grow over, or do you plan to remove it down the road? Anyway, absolutely one of my favorite tanks, the footprint you have to work with is paradise, lucky you :) Happy New Year!

Lol. I'll cut it down, but let it grow over to support it.
I will use coral putty to stabilise it.

It's a massive coral.

Still running Aquaforest. The stags are getting too big and shading out their bases.
I think the one front left will topple soon. The one far back right fell over, but carried on growing on its side.
I moved part of the big green Abro in the middle of the tank. Some of it is front left. I put some new small colonies in where it was.

I will likely move out the big stag and the milk stylo, so I can add some new colonies to grow out...

Awesome update, Mo. Forgive me but I have to ask. What is/are plan for that stag on the left. For now, it blocks the view from the back.

Jiminy Christmas! It looks like a chunk of the ocean, so jealous of your tanks volume. Everything looks great, thanks for sharing.

Mo, about how many fish do you think you have in the tank? It looks amazing in there. You have some impressive colonies.

Just amazing!! I am jealous as I am sure everyone is. How much of their carbon source are you dosing and is it the only one you use? About how many fish do you have? I would love to see some shots from inside the tank so we can see the depth of the tank. It's impossible to really see what's going on.

Thanks for all the kind comments.

Nick, I will likely trim down the stag as it does block the view- it has such nice colours that I don't want to, but it has shaded everything underneath and I can't grow anything in a large area at the front of the tank....

Corey, about 7-8 tangs. 10-12 wrasse. 25 anthias.15 chromis. About 15 other fish.

Cheers

4 blue+
2 actinic+
2 coral+
Per fixture

50% max led
10% red
20% white
100% Blue
100% Royal blue

I sometimes adjust the led a little, but I pushed the LED power up slowly to avoid burning corals...
