My 120 filled mostly with SPS

Beautiful SPS reef! I loved the colonies. Fantastic colours too!

Niiiiiice!

Thanks guys!

Another update, I am changing my T5s again. I've decided that the UVL 12k bulbs were too yellowish/orange, and brought out too much purple too, and that I wanted a crisper whiter look when all the T5s are on. I swapped out the two UVLs for two AquaBlue Specials, which gives that cleaner, crisper white look. I also have the two Coral +, I will be replacing them in another 10 days or so with new bulbs (leaving them Coral + though). So lighting is:

11:30 a.m. Royal Blue's on (two strips of 24)
2:00 p.m. 1 Coral + and 1 ABS on
4:00 p.m. Other Coral + and ABS on
8:00 p.m. First Coral + and ABS off
10:00 p.m. Second Coral + and ABS off
12:00 p.m. Royal Blues off

This gives me a nice dawn and dusk effect, especially with only one Coral + and ABS on with the RB's, with 4 hours of nice bright peak lighting.

Jordan,

Is that the same photoperiod and duration times you have been using all along?? Your coral certainly have grown, as shown in your thread, but I would have thought you need all 4 T5s on at the same time, for more than the 4 hours.

:)

I can't recall specifically how long I've had this schedule, maybe since the summer (4 or 5 months)? Most of the fall has been a blur, been busy and my son has been having his fair share of ailments, and sleep has been at a premium. My memory is taxed to poor at best. I did have all 4 T5's on for 6 hours at the same time, I like this effect better, and I think they are still getting the same amount of light duration wise, just a bit different. My growth seems to have been good since making the switch, notice no difference really. I'm hoping to see a bit of a bump in growth now that I'm replacing my bulbs to new ones.

Beautiful shots and thanks for the info on the fish

You're lucky to have a good fish supplier. I do believe, that their size matters a lot. The smaller, usually the better. I'm happy to hear your experience of the Regal, that while it didn't eat much initially, it made it and now looks well settled.

Hopefully I'll find one soon. The FTS looks great

Absolutley great photo's! I have the same bulb combo without the royal blues and i'm getting insane purples and some great greens, but reds are not so red anymore. Have you noticed any "range" of colors that are not doing as good as others? How much do you think the royal blues add to the spectrum and growth? Thanks for sharing the tank.
