My 120 filled mostly with SPS

looking fantastic Jordan! pics came out great aswell (btw i finally picked up a 7d and macro lense..lol)

i'm laughing at how fast that prostrata grows in your tank i can't beleive that..lol

Love how everything is placed very nice and healthy..great work..glad you were able to take care of some issues and also hope those tangs are ok.. am actually thinking of going with mostly smalller schooling fish for my rebuild.

I still don't really know what it was with the YT and the Regal and why they got HLLE, and my PBT didn't. My regal only had a touch of it, but it was such a beautiful fish, I didn't have the heart to leave it in the tank and have it get worse. Selcon, Angelixr, frozen sponge angel food, etc. over quite a few months didn't show any noticeable improvement (but it didn't seem to worsen it either). I do like the look of the tank now, just different. I think I'm pretty close to being at the same bioload, but my feedings are a bit different now.

Bravo! Very nice :)

Looking good.

Awesome job! Great photography! Just went through the whole thread..
Sweeeet collection!

Thanks!

Great update. Who is Fragalot, may I ask?

Fragalot is a vendor out of Guelph - the guy who ran it did so out of his house, and sold a lot of frags over the past 6+ years (at least as long as I've been in the hobby). I heard recently though that he may have shut down, not sure if that is true or not, I only ordered frags from him once and that was 5 years ago or so, has been a while.

Looking forward to seeing some macro shots of your tank Jason! You won't be disappointed in either the 7D or the 100 2.8.

I think with the prostrata it was just dumb luck putting it in a spot where it is getting perfect light and flow. Pretty crazy though how fast it will grow when it wants to.

wow.....just...wow!!!!!
That is amazing jroovers and the pics are awesome:eek1:
I love with the overall look!:inlove:

I hope your chromis continue co exist without issues.
Every time i tried them i ended up with just one:(
How long do you have them and how many in total?

Have you made any changes ragarding your routines?

It was a good decision you made with those tangs I would've done the same thing. Keep the pics coming some macro shots would be awesome

Thanks! I've had the chromis for a few months now, maybe about 2.5 or 3. I started with 14 or 15, and I lost a bunch within the first week or two. I've been at 9 for quite some time. I have changed my feeding habits due to my changes in fish, I'm feeding mostly cyclopeeze once daily and frozen Mysis once daily (haven't changed anything else). If I happen to be home, I sometimes add a third feeding. The consistent feeding potentially curbs some of their aggression maybe, and also the anthias sort of keep them in line - they all tend to shoal in the same area, front and center in my tank, and the anthias let them know who is boss - no nipping or biting, they just sort of swim at them with some aggression, and the chromis group up.

Yes not sure what else to do. I'll get some more macros sometime soon! :)

The undata reaching upwards from the disc is really moon-like and amazing.

I think it has grown sloping from front to back due to the tanks flow pattern - the flow is strong at the front of the tank as that is the way the powerheads are pointed - luckily that makes for the best viewing!

What camera and lens are you using? Your pictures are breathtaking! :)

Thanks, most of my most recent pictures are with the Canon 6D. Lens wise there is a mix of shots with both the 24-105 f4 and 100 f2.8 macro. Otherwise, those two wide angle shots are with a Rokinon 14 f2.8 lens.

Such a nice tank. TOTM worthy

Thanks

Absolutely stunning, ever have any aggression issues with the PBT?

He is pretty small and hasn't shown any real aggression (sometimes he catches his own reflection and acts a bit tough). When my YT was in the tank, he was the boss, and the PBT played second fiddle. At present, he is the only tang and has free reign, plays nice with everyone else (no reason not to I guess).

WOW! Amazing shots jroovers, love the chromis closeups!

Thanks - it is pretty crazy when you look closeup at the those chromis how many colours they have. :)

The colors on these corals are stunning! Do you have any PAR readings and are you still using 2x coral plus and 2x Aquablue Special T5s?

Thanks for the kind comments.

I don't have any PAR readings, but that is something I should do - when I get around to it, I'll definitely post my readings. I am currently using the two Coral+ and 2 ABS, in addition to the 48 Cree RB LEDs.
