My 240g FOWLR

Beautiful collection. I have a similar game plan with my 280. Just purchased a 1in annularis and will be getting a small juvi majestic next week, in hopes that them growing up together will curve any aggression. I love all the butterflys, I hope to get a nice collection going myself

My favorite is a Fiji purple and blue plus (? I think that's what it's called). The Fiji purple just give the reds and yellows such amazing color. My only complaint would be that it's not really the brightest combo.

The angel agression is what i fear the most!

Ive been wondering why the Chelmon muelleri has been sitting on DD for so long. I see you have one already!
What an awesome fish! Was it harder than most CBB? Gorgeous..

Here's the new chrysurus. Every time I tried to take a picture, he'd turn and face the camera directly

Great looking Chrysurus! I find them to be one of the more underrated large angels, but I find them beautiful. I kept both a large Adult (180 mixed reef), and a juvenile in my old 300 FOWLR, that were model citizens. I never really saw much aggression towards my other angels. Good luck with him. Beautiful pics.

Thanks Jason. Yes, from what I read, they are excellent choices for mixing with other angels. I find them to be simply stunning.

Nice shot of my rather large flavirostris. Apparently NOT like other Chaetodons that don't ever seem to reach full size in captivity!

And I never tire of photographing this guy :)

I've always wondered, how lag wand how often do you do water changes on a tank like this?

Love that aureofasciatus, btw

I do 80-100g every 6 weeks or so. I change filter socks religiously. And I clean the skimmer out once a week.

I also run carbon and GFO. I still haven't added macro to the fuge yet though... and I have a biopellet reactor that also still needs to be hooked up.

Do you think having the same water circulate for too long affects the fish in some way? Thinking about getting into fowlr, but not sure how much more (or less) work it would be compared to my nano.,

And I meant rainfordi, hehe

I'm not sure how different it is from your nano. I keep my nitrates and phosphates down, and run carbon, so I think my schedule is pretty good. They aren't swimming around in their own filth, if that's what you mean :)

Nice addition Peter... Mine is very docile, to the point where my Regal enjoys bullying it occasionally, even though my Chrysurus is larger than him; fortunately for the most part, they get along just fine.

That's good to hear, and in line with other accounts I've read. Can't wait for it to get full adult colors! The brown color is already coming in on the forehead.
