Yes the 40 wet side fell as well as the dry side. I didn't have it secured to the tank yet.

I upgraded the controlers & will reinstall this week.

I have the little black stick on squares that have ziptie holes. I used those for the 60's.

The one that fell off was a 40. I am at the limit of the magnetic "stick on" capabilities of a 40.

3/4" inch glass is pushing it on the mp40's. Magnet is not that strong.
Did you use the rubber piece on dry side. That seems to help.

I think because I didn't have it supported is why it fell.

Yes i am using the thin rubber gasket on dry side.

Thanks, I like tangs, they are pretty hardy & for the most part reef safe.

After dinner my wife watches her shows, dancing with the stars, chef something, housewifes of somewhere....

My dogs & I go into the bedroom & watch our shows in surround sound & watch the tank. the lights go off at 10:00 & go to sleep.

It actually is working out pretty good. The only thing I did not think of is the heat this tank puts off. Might be a challenge in the summer..

Lowes 30.00. Great deal & they have a nice on/off switch that mounts separate.




Yes, they are about 1/6 the size they were in my old tank. They get real green with a purple hue on the trunk. Guess they are not used to the clean water in this tank yet

they mount with srews from the bottom. White reflector pops out & reveals 2 screw holes, then the white part pops back in. I am very happy with them, lots of light for 30.00.

I have no luck combining sps and softies( neon green kenya tree, pink leather finger and other nice softies in my tank.
Are you planning to have mixed sps tank?
