My 75 Gal Build

Been up and running for about 4 months now and thought I would start a thread. It has taken me since this past Fall to get this far. This is my third build and by far the slowest. The stand and hood are DIY. Hope to have more corals soon.

Coralife Elite 2 x 175w 10,000k, 2 x 96w actinic
Current Trulumen LED Moonlights
Danner Mag-drive 18
Reef Octopus NWB 150
40 Gallon Breeder DIY Sump

I wanted to go minimalist but decided to do the larger scape.
I purchased dry rock and seeded it with a few pieces of live from my last build. The algae growth is spreading rapidly.

The pics are not that great. I left my Canon at the office and used a Kodak Easyshare.

Which is louder to your ear, the mag 18 or the skimmer?

The skimmer !! I had to put foam under both of them to quiet them down. The humming doesn't bother me so much. Drives my girlfriend a little crazy.

I caught a 4 inch fan on sale at Radio Shack and it is kinda loud too ! But, it keeps things cool under the tank.

Thats a very unusual looking stand and canopy... very cool. The scape looks great too. Nice work.

Thanks ! When I get my other camera from work, I'm gonna take more pictures. You can't see much of the detail of the rock work in that picture.

Here is one I took the other day. It's a much better camera.
