Tangwich
In Memoriam
Todd, I thought you had unsubscribed. I'm not trying to be "cool". I think I'm past that stage in my life where I have to try to be anything I'm not although I'm not 30 yet. You shared your opinions on haddoni anemones and I shared mine. They are obviously different and I'll leave it at that.
E.J. Coral, "typical cheby driver", turning green with envy are we? So do you buy your hatorade in bulk all the time? I have never thought I was better than anyone else because God has blessed me with materialistic possessions in life. I know that doesn't make you a better person than anyone else. I'm single and don't have children and working for the city affords me some toys, but I would never talk down to anyone else. I just want to get that straight.
The point I was trying to make is that although I'm not part of the "tang police", I do hate when people take things that should belong in the wild and aren't responsible about it. I'm not better than anyone else as I have been guilty of that in the past. And this doesn't only pertain to anemones, if I see someone housing a lion at the zoo in a small cage, I think that's morally wrong as well. It just so happens that in this case we're talking about reefing and keeping anemones in particular and keeping animals that grow to large proportions in a "small" tank is irresponsible if not done the right way. If your tank is dedicated to carpets and they are all thriving, great job and so my comments don't pertain to you. However, if someone has multiple carpets with fish in a tank that will put those fish in danger of being eaten, then I think that's irresponsible and if the shoe fits (sorry that I have to be the opinionated one here) it's time to lace that puppy up.
OrionN, I completely agree with you and you put everything I wanted to say in a nice way that probably won't offend or hurt people's feelings so thanks.
