My haddoni just ate the biggest Scotter Blenny I've ever owned. I had the haddoni, 2 scotters, and lawnmower blenny in a 10/g. Fixing to sell this haddoni which is why he's in the 10/g. Came home, and my big fat scooter blenny is missing. there's a top on my tank and it's impossible for him to get sucked up the filter because it's way to small.

That haddoni looks kinda fat...lol:):headwally:

I'm gonna have to find me another big scotter. He was almost like a dog. I could hand feed him.

bummer!

Bottom dwelling fish are pretty much an expensive meal waiting to happen. Sorry for your loss. Haddoni are brutal.

Thanks, yeah I can't believe that he could eat a fish of that size!

Here is his Skeleton I found this morning after getting home from work.

It's confirmed...

That sux man. No fish is safe from them really. In the last couple months I lost a 5-6" foxface and a 5" powder blue tang to my red haddoni. So I feel your pain.

PS Is it blue? I'll take it off your hands since I'm left with only Clowns and damsels:P

Bummer to hear, but the key element here would be that 10g tank more than the nem itself, not a whole lot of clearance for the little guy, but it always sucks to lose any fish that you've had long term.
Hadonni's do have a rep for eating fish, but I think in many cases it was a sick fish, or like this case where there wasn't much swim room.
Sorry to hear man.
