My sps are turning brown?!

My pearlberry colony, along with a neon green birdsnest, and a few other lighter-hued acros seem to be turning a brownish shade where they used to be bright light cream and/or white colors! Everything seems happy and there is new growth on about everything, its just all taking a brownish hue. My sky-blue bottle brush acro is now a muddled purple brownish color! I am using HO T5's and the sps are all at the top of the tank. Calcium is around 600 and everything seems to be within the norm. What gives?

Check your alk I had the same problem with my sps turning a brownish color I wasn't keeping an eye on my alk like I should everthing browned out took a couple months but finally got all my color back

600 on calcium is abnormally high. Mine is 420.

What is your Alk and PO4? My Alk is 8 and I try to keep PO4 at .03.

IMO, in order of priority, I would say keeping alk stable/consistent is by far the most important thing you can do. Next, maintaining CA around 400. Third, watch that PO4 doesn't get higher than .1 for a prolonged period of time. I try to keep mine under .03.

Oh and flow should be on the list too but that's not for color. I use 2 MP40Ws on my tank.

Check your Phosphates and nitrates.

Do you do frequent/weekly water changes?

Doing so would alleviate the pain on the coloration.
