This is an artist rendition. The guys in WWM apparently didn't know what it was either.

Anyone know what this is? They feel "leathery" and do not easily release glass and rock. They don't look like any flatworm I've seen as they don't really seem to be mobile.

I realize the pic isn't much to go on... but literally that is all it looks like. Just a small white oval that appears half filled... wierd. How long is snail incubation? They've been around for 2 weeks at least.

Based upon the artist's rendition, and not an actual picture, that would be my guess as well.

What type of snails do you have in your tank?

Cerith, nassarius, margarita, nerite, and mexican turbo.

I've seen both nassarius and ceriths lay eggs. Although they are roughly the same size as nassarius egg sacs they look very different as these seem leathery. Also none of the fish try to eat them, whereas they gorge on the other snail eggs.

I dunno I'm starting to think its some sort of egg sac as well... I'll keep an eye on them.
