After prodding and persuading relentlessly from my "friends" I am Now up grading

This will be the thread dedicated to it and any questions

First and Foremost I want to Thank Joe From Puppy Center ,Guillundr (Roman) , Cato, Lrls(Kevin), Argi (Keith) Bobobrain,MP456 (Jesse), Dlandino (Dave) ...For help advice and yes constant Rimming.

I purchased a 150 DD from Puppy Center at an Incredible Price from Joe. As always he is there for any enthusiast and always willing to help or share advice.

So Icy Coral came over and we decided to build a stand...... I wanted to have a stand taller 35" and have it look like a piece of furniture and blend in my house.

I'm setting up the same tank also picked up from PC on the same sale. Joe and the rest of those guys are great. I can't wait to see how it comes together.

I decided to have tank skinned in oak and then I stained and urethaned it. This of course after repeatedly removing my sliding deck doors and going in and out with it. Thanks Roman.

Epstein, Stand looks great. Ill be taggin along for the system build. If my memory serves me correctly I remember seeing your tank a few years ago before I took my hiatus from reef keeping.
Definitely looking forward to seeing more photos.

plumbing complete. Incorporates a 100 Gal Rubermaid tub a Pan World Pump which also feeds a Manifold I built that will supply my skimmer my calk reactor my media reactor and can be added to. The top barrel is my fresh water barrel which will connect to an ato and the lower one is salt mixing for water changes . Everything you see has quick connects and ball valves to be isolated and repaired/maintained if need be.

That stand came out great! And with all those 2x4's there will be no questioning the strength that's for sure

Lol yep that thing could hold up a 747! Figure the tank is 150gal @ 10lb. Per gal that's 1500lbs. of weight it needs to hold. With the double 2x4, extra bracing and glued joints, that shouldn't be any prob at all.

I tell ya man that oak finish looks sweet and that sure is one heck of a system you plumbed in Brian! Very awesome setup, I love cube tanks!

Purchased two of these beauties..... Placing one to view tank and one in basement for sump. They are wireless IP Cams..... can be viewed and controlled from anywhere including my Iphone.... So between that and the Neptune I can monitor and control tank from anywhere at anytime

Its stocked and looks awesome! Brian did an excellent job soup to nuts on this set up. I get the pleasure of taking care of it for him when he and his wife travel. Unfortunately Brian is not on here much anymore. I'll see if I can ask him to post some new pics.
