New Elegance almost here: Quick Question on barebottom placement pls...

Ok, so my new Aussie elegance is almost here from the DD.

I am presently running a bare-bottom system and I've cleared a corner away for it. Should I place it on the glass, or should I put it on a rock? I am running 250W halide, so there will be enough light at the bottom.

I would wedge the skeleton between rocks, so that it can't fall over. Just don't pinch any flesh between the rocks.

This is my new Aussie from the Diver's Den... there picture did it no justice and neither do mine. It is absolutely stunning in color.

Please excuse the microbubbles. There is a leak in the CL line that I'm hoping will work itself out. If no change in a week I'll look into it.

Also, I'll move that air stone tonight. I just set up my doser again and things got shifted. Ok, enough excuses now. Hope you enjoyed the pix.

Beautiful Elegance. I almost purchased that one myself. You don't see very many with bright green tentacles like that. Awesome coral.

Thanks! It is stunning and I am extremely pleased with the specimen. The clownfish have not noticed it, or don't care. They host the two clams in the pictures presently.

I have now satisfied my requirement for bright green... this thing is amazing... I'm so glad you didn't buy it. And, I know I caught it on the DD within hours of its posting.

I am now looking to add:

Blood red RBTA
Yellow leather

to the collection to make it more colorful. Yay!
