New Heteractis magnifica question

here's maybe a question you dont see everyday. here goes.
how can i make it walk?
i was planning it will like a strong water flow, but it ended up staying @ the middle of the tank. just where i dont want it to stay...
i tried to point the tunze nano @ it. after 30 mins, it mount start to open. so i stop the pump.
anyone got other idea?

slowly increase the flow to that spot over a week or so, and maybe it will start its journey at some point. but I would leave it well enough alone, as you hear so many stories of peoples anems going down hill after they start to walk, and end up where they shouldnt and then never recover. Count your blessings that it found a spot that it likes.

it cant stay where it is. it need to move or it have to come out. small tank,i cant have it stay in the middle of it.
smallest controllable pump, i have still doing 500gph, which i tried already...

H. magnifica need to stay in the middle of the tank. If you have a small tank, maybe it should come out. How small is your small tank? H. magnifica need an area of about 1.5-2 feet diameter circle.
If you have a small tank, it should be a species tank. Certainly it will be the most demanding of the animals you keep

I wouldn't cause it any undue stress by blasting it with flow. Just place a rock right up against the foot. It will probably climb the rock to get higher. Then just put the rock where you want with him on it.

I agree with the above posters about space and placement, but you can get it to move by shading most of the anemone except for a bit in the direction you want it to go. It will seek out the light pretty fast if it can.

when i said small i mean 36X30.
i know it's not an easy animal and it demand ton of attention.
i have a perfect spot for it, of course it move to the spot where i dont want it to be at...i have ton of light and ton of flow for it. i just cant have it stay with it's now. right in the center of the rock work.
lucky when i built the light i know i might running into something like this. so i made my MHs are movable, so i move the main MH to the left hope it will follow the light and once it gets to where i want it i have a special spot light for it.
