just the other day my small male clown disappeared, still not sure what happened. they are a pair originally from doni and are over 3 years old maybe more. the male has always been tiny and malnourished looking. lived for years and acted and behaved normally.
doni suggested a nice onyx to diversify the genes. looking for suggestions. i am not trying to breed them, dont have the interest or time but if they did spawn in the future i would want the option and want the young to turn out unique and healthy. here is a pic.

I think an onyx would definitely make great babies! You would end up with something like mocha colored offsprings.

Hard for me to not side w/ Doni's advice, an onyx sure would be nice, and would add nice flavor to your pair.

If you can find onyx from Rods I think they would make a great pair.
