Thanks Eagles. I May give that a shot. It is running pretty good right now. Its making a nice frothy head with the valve all the way open. I got a new camera, the Konica Dimage Z6 so I'll be playing with that tonight and I'll try some pics.

We were without power today so it has only been running for a few hours but still making nice shaving cream foam.

I let go overnight wide open. The cup filled with light tea colored skimmate. I just restricted the airflow a tiny bit. The tank ORP is also running 30-40 points higher than with my NW skimmer. Was staying around 370 and now its at 418.

Oh man oh man I wish I had a bigger tank to use that.

Are you getting rid of this yourself or...
Any reasons why? Just curious.

No I think he's referring to the recirculation model of that skimmer

This is actually a great deal. It comes with the gate valve modification, a drainage, and it has already been modified for RC.

I would rather pay 300 bucks and shipping for that over:

which is $838

2 weeks ago i replace an Aqua C 180 on my 240, i know, too small, long story. I got the 3000 model and it is sweet. Its quieter, uses less Kw and has raised to ORP from 290 (Aqua C) to 360. the 3000 is an amazing deal for the money. I ended up cutting the bottom waste drain off and drilling and attaching it to the side. this allowed it to fit under my tank when removing the cup.
Sweet skimmer with tons of tiny tiny bubbles.
