New Ritteri

Yesterday I added a new Ritteri to my tank. FedEx dropped it off about 10 a.m. yesterday morning. For the first six hours or so, the anemone was deflated and the mouth continued to gape. After about nine hours, it began to inflate and the mouth began to close. This morning it is fully expanded, the mouth is closed, and it is doing great. Here are a couple of pics.

The anemone was just short of about 5 inches when I unpacked it yesterday. Right now, fully inflated, it's at 9 inches in diameter. I got it from Blue Zoo Aquatics. It is in a dedicated 75 gal., sitting about 10 inches directly under a 250w, 14k, MH light. It's looked great all day. The clowns are definitely enjoying all the "real estate."

Interesting.. I just got a Mag from BlueZoo as well, They listed it at 6 inches online and the thing is easily 12 inches across. It is also in great health and condition like yours is.
