Just recently moved here from Omaha,NE (not a husker just lived there) where I had a Somewhat successful tank maintenance company got here and discovered what sticker shock must feel like. Can anyone tell me where in town to get the best deals/stock.

Welcome to Colorado! For fish, in Aurora, I found Fish Palace to sell quality livestock at a decent price. I'm sure there are other stores closer - such as Neptunes (It's been a long time since my last visit).

Welcome to Colroado.... and the Ranch! :)

There are a couple of nice stores nearby, depending on what you are looking for.

- Neptune's at University & County Line - Healthy fish, good selection of supplies, some frags. A bit expensive, though everything is QTd prior to sale.

- Aquamart at Wadsworth & 285 (Hampden) - Great fish selection, good colonies and frags, decent dry goods, competitively priced. #1 store in CO at the moment and also QTs.

- Keys Island at Santa Fe & Oxford - Generally good frag selection, some dry goods and fish can be hit or miss. Sometimes has amazing showstoppers.

- Great Barrier Reef at Yosemite south of C-470 - Some fish and corals. May be closer than Neptune's but parking sucks.

Thanks for the welcomes and info. I appreciate it. Another question... Why doesn't anyone here drill tanks. I did it all the time for 25 a hole. I called 2 places being lazy and they said they don't know anyone locally that does it outside of glass shops.

Most glass shops won't touch it either because the risk of breaking someone's expensive tank is more than the income. Sherman Tank used to do drilling before scaling back operations a couple of years ago...it is possible that they still do. (Lots of folks here do their own.)

Appreciate it I have been doing it for a few years. I was just wondering why no one locally was doing it.
