No wave from wavebox

I cant get my new wavebox to give much of a wave. The tank is a 4' 75 gal. RR with a slightly off center overflow. The best wave I can get is like 1/4". The unit just arrived today from PA, but it had directions for a nano DOC skimmer and none for the wavebox.

The tank also have a 6025 nano stream, a seio 802, a seio 602, and the return pum p is a ehiem 1262.

I have tried a bit with the power levels and pulse settings but havent gotten anything like wht I expected.

The unit was wet inside when I opened it, I assume this is normal from testing?

Yes, they test the pump with a small amount of glycerin solution. Wave height varies but at least 3/4" should be possible on a 75, leave the driver at full power, slowly turn the knob on the controller until you get a wave. I can email you a PDF of the manual and I will have print manuals late next week.

You have to adjust it in the most minute increments. I got a 3 inch wave on my 75g tank.

Just wondering where is your controller is set to get 3" wave, i get 1" on my 36" long 65 Gal tank and my controller knob "dot" is looking at letter "E" or 5 oclock. On any other setting i do not get any wave at all. I tryed as Roger recommends all the way counterclockwise and then small adjustments. and 5 o'clock is the only position to get a wave. If i turn on my 6100 stream pump wave gets slightly smaller.

I think you will not get as large a wave on a 3 ft tank.

My was set just a bit past 11 o'clock when I got that wave.

Thanks Roger if you could e-mail me the pdf thats fine, BenTarlecky@verizon.net

I did get it working following your suggestion. I get a nice 1.25" wave going. I have a vortech on the opposite side running full power as well as a tunze nano stream and a seio 602.

Thanks again.

If I forget to send a manual when we reopen Wednesday, please bump this thread. I am home now and don't have access to my PDF files.
