Official Swap Date Anounced

Also a late contender, just heard back from another source today. Another Church this one on 19th Street Nitro. Cost is $50 full power, and water, plus tables. There would have to be a small admittance fee for this one.

I'd vote for the church...

simply due to the Saturday date. Works better for me personally.

Also, with the funeral home, wouldn't there be a possiblity of a service (or multiple services) on that date? I'm just thinking that it wouldn't be feasible to reach everyone if the event had to be cancelled due to a funeral service at the business.

Nope, interesting bit of trivia is that Sunday viewings are extremely rare maybe one a year if that from what I hear.

It isn't that important to me, but the church sounds just a little better, but only because we just burried my mother-in-law two days ago and I am feeling strangely about it.

either for me. Found out the armory doesn't have a/c but might be a place to think about in cooler months. We could set up a meeting in Dunbar for the 21st. They do have big fans and it's still pretty cool this time of year.

Why is everyone so against Saturdays? Mary aren't you retired? A funeral home is kinda creepy. The only time I need to be there is if someone died. I think there should be some kind of consensus. Just a question? How do things become OFFICIAL?

I don't know about everyone else but Dave usually works Saturdays.

Hey if its on saturday I'm up for the church.
Why are you so against Sunday?

I will be at either one, I just feel less for the funeral home for personal reasons. If it is at the funeral home I will not bring my husband as he is still grieving the loss of his mothers passing last week and I don't think it would be appropriate.

We are working on a Saturday date for the meeting after this, but details are sketchy right now, I will post more when I know more.
