OT: How'd Ya'll Handle the Storm?

Looks like the waters parted around where I live on the North side of town and all three major clusters missed us. But I can tell from the maps yesterday a few of you (like Eddie) could have seen some strong hail. Everybody weather the storm without too much damage?

made it thru OK - we had 1.5-2 inch diameter hail. Needless to say, my daughters car has quite a few dings in it. Also, it blew off my gutter guards and probably damaged the roof. The insurance adjuster should be out in the coming days. The amazing thing about it was that we just lost power for a few seconds. It was very scary. My prayers go out to the people and areas that had worse losses. Ours was nothing compared to other areas.

hey gang glad to hear you'll didnt get anything too terrible. I live close to the dixie lee junction in Farragut and we got hail hard for a couple minutes.

Cracked my front windshield on my jeep and knocked out 6 or 7 windows on the house as well as some of the vinyl. Ive got some pictures ill upload a little later. Hope everyones ok out there!

I'm not back from Japan and all the quakes for more than a few days then this storm hits us. My car and my wifes new Lexus is loaded with dings kinda like the surface of a golf ball, insurance is supposed to check it out this Tuesday. Hope every one else made it out better than I.

That was quite a storm. I went through hurricane Charley in FL that was devastating but this was far worse. I pray for all who have lost loved ones, homes, or property. I feel so blessed that the worse thing we had was a tree came down in the driveway. I did loose one fish, red spot cardinal, in the 10g. we were without power for 22 hours. We ran a generator to keep the 75 and 40 FW tanks going , but I just kept "churning" the water in the 10 by hand. The other fish, Hi Fin Goby, and critters in it are fine.

I lost a chimney, about half the paint off one side of my house, roof damage, and both of my cars look like they were left sitting on a driving range for a couple of days. Oh, well, I guess that's what I pay insurance for.
