Ot: Lakers vs Magic

So the rules don't apply if Orlando was "down" or losing? I don't understand why people are being soft on Orlando, poor them? The clock was still running when he committed what I consider a flagrant foul, if the rules say it's a suspension then he should be suspended. Doesn't matter if they were "down" or not.

Gasol didn't fall on his head. But he could have. That's like saying if I hit you with my car and you don't die. It's ok, let's get on with the "series"? lol

Of course the rules apply. I'm just saying it's not THAT big a deal. We won, lets move on.

This entire series has been super physical. There's no need for us Laker fans to cry about one incident where a player crossed the line. I was ****ed just like everyone else. But now I'm over it. Lets move on.

I don't think it's fair to compare the foul on Gasol to getting hit by a car. I've seen much worse fouls in past series.

The officiating has been crap and will continue to be crap. There's no reason for us Laker fans to complain, we're better than them and can overcome bad calls. We're the better team.

we're kicking the cr@p outta Orlando so bad that we no longer have to argue with their fans and instead have started to turn on each other.

bennet salvatore and that other *(^%$# are now officially on the top of my ref ****list. to the point that the non-call on the kobe:jameer elbow was well deserved. 18-0 on ft's in the 4th? i won't say the nba playoffs are fixed, but jeez... anything worse from the officials and it's pro wrestling.
that said, what a great game. i think i felt every possible emotion throughout the course of game 4. kobe, while we all know he'll never TRULY play team ball "the right way", realized it wasn't in the cards for him and let his cast be the heroes. we fought through a gritty magic performance, another horrendous 4 quarters of botched calls, didn't shrink in the face of adversity and really took this one. the real heroes are ariza, odom and fish in this series. and PAU! finalls showing he's got bollocks... i loved this game.
one caveat... we did a lot of celebrating after game 4. my instinct is to feel a little worried about game 5, but we're pros. LET'S WRAP IT UP IN ORLANDO AND GET SOME WELL DESERVED REST.

Honestly, I didn't have an issue with that. It seemed to be in good fun, and they were not causing any damage.

Flipping cars is different all together and those who do that should be liable for damages.

I guess if you consider about 7 or so guys on each side of the car rocking it back n forth as good fun. You could see the car rocking back n forth so bad even from the helicopter view. So I guess when the Lakers won a championship a few years back and some fans started a fire in the middle of the street, jumped on cars and caused a rukus, you thought that was in good fun too right cuz they didn't flip any cars or hurt anybody? Yea ok.Whether they caused damage or not,it's not right period. I'm just sayin.

Go Lakers!! :)

Congrats fellow Lakers fans....great season!

Adam Morrison and DJ Mbenga now has more rings than Malone, Stockton, Barkley, and Ewing combined!!!! WOW!

Anyone going to the parade to celebrate our boys bringing the trophy home? I'll be going and wanted to see if anyone else wanted to meet up.

Mel

GO LAKERS!!!

There was some rumor that the city won't have a parade, due to the economy and that the city needs to foot the 1.5 million dollar bill. But I guess it remains to be seen.
