Ot: Lakers vs Magic

Wooo Hoooo!!!Lakers are the sh!t!!! I think I'll be there Mel!! Hopefully these idiots who are "celebrating" in LA right now won't be there or at least not act a fool :(

It's too bad some of these Laker fans can't celebrate this championship decently. They ruin the whole fun of winning. Embarrassing.

Typical, bunch of punk thugs rioting and burning stuff in downtown. Real fans don't act like jackholes. They ruin it for the rest of us. Since when did celebration include flipping cars? Probably why I didn't become a cop cause I'd want to bust some heads! $#!+ like this makes me hate this place.

Okay I'm done, Go Lakers!

Hate it when the season's over! Is it just me, or did Orlando rob us of what would've been a more memorable Finals?

Happy to see Phil and Kobe get their due! Stay safe down there, everyone. Best to celebrate indoors.

Game 4 was one of the best games I've ever seen. Great series to watch, although Orlando sort of ruined it by not making game 5 more competitive. Oh well, we'll take it. Go Lakers!!

Joe (Jflip),

You're going to have to make this your new avatar now for an entire year. :D

There was some rumor that the city won't have a parade, due to the economy and that the city needs to foot the 1.5 million dollar bill. But I guess it remains to be seen.

is it me or does it seem 'weird' that la has to foot the bill to celebrate a 'private' owned team that earns hundreds of millions of dollars a year?

just went through the photos on yahoo on what happened in LA after the game... i must say, WOW, these people are an embarrassment. flipping over cars, vandalizing, and breaking into stores, i really don't understand it sometimes.

I think I was jflip that said that pau Is weak and I give him credit he gave pau props he also said something about how Trevor ariza was no good and that is why the magic traded him. Thank you orlando magic for taking Bryan cook for ariza best trade ever LOL he also said not I join the magic band wagon when the magic win. It's okay if you want to join the laker band wagon. Lakers back to back guarenteed.

I only kinda agree. Wonder how much revenue the team directly and indirectly contributes to the LA economy in taxes and revenue from Staples center?

how elsse would these people have an excuse to rob others?

The Lakers too soft?
Didn't have the killer instinct?
The critics have been silenced as yesterday's game wasn't even a contest.
The Trophy is back where it belongs, in Los Angeles. If we keep Lamar and Ariza, we can win it again next year with a healthy and improved Bynum.

Freakin raider and dodger fans have had nothing to root for in so many years that when the lakers win championships they come out and shake cars and loot! It's so embarrasing for me being Mexican American to see all these hispanics out their destroying our city. It's awesome to celebrate but *** shaking cars while people are in it? If I was in one of those cars I would have floored the gas pedal.

I agree. Why **** off or upset a business that generates so much tax revenue for your city. Don't forget the charity work NBA and the players do.

I vote for the parade, but strict no tolerance rules for hoodlums.

Rioting, looting, property destruction, w*t*f? On the news this morning they showed a van with all it's windows bashed and a burnt piece of paper and a stick near where the gas tank and the cap was off. Evidently an attempt to stick fire into the gas tank of the van. How stupid do you have to be? Don't the guy know that gas + fire = explosion? He/she probably blow himself/herself up but was too stupid to know it.
