OzATL's 1000g Display Build Thread

Apologies for the delayed response. Business is crazy these days.

Digging all the small fish; especially the wrasses.

Thanks. Outside of the large tangs I want all smaller fish for now on. I prefer the look in a larger tank.

Nice list gonna br amazing tank. I wonder it cost a of cash for that.

Thanks. Wasn't cheap but this hobby as a whole isn't either.

Wow!!! Very impressive tank. I really like the sofa. Just sit and enjoy.
Well done.

Thanks. I sit back with my 10mo old daughter and she can't get enough. Natural pacifier!

Well done. How are you liking the multi-parameter tester?

The photometer is awesome. Makes things so much easier and night and day accurate from traditional testing.

better then a Theater Room IMO

Theater room is opposite the tank so I'm luck enough to get the best of both worlds.

BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

I really love the room, stand, walls, roofing, molding, etc it all came out beautifully together.

Congratulations!

The more pics you can post would be appreciated!

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for sure. I'm trying to get more up. I need a real camera vs. these iphone shots.

Put sone nice sound system while enjoying polyps dacing with the wave

When I had the room done, they put speakers in the ceiling above the couch. :)

It was a pleasure seeing this tank in person. This build is legendary! I hope to see it one day again with all those SPS pieces in it. Have anymore plumbing jobs LOL?

Outstanding, I love everything about the build, subscribed and rated.

Do you have any pictures of what is behind the curtain (wall)?

How many tests can the Multi-parameter Hanna Photometer do?

Hey Jake - It's come a LONG way since you guys came by. Being able to wash filter socks and towels in a separate washer/dryer down there is awesome.

Very nice build. Really like the finishings in the room. waiting to see it w all the sps.

Thanks. I started out with all 1" frags on purpose so waiting on some growth to take some closer shots.

Amazing im drooling right now

Dying to see the equipment room.

I really need to spend some time cleaning up the filtration room. I wanted to get it to a point where the tank was stable and on auto pilot for coral. Now I'm slowly starting to clean up the wiriing and such. I'll throw some teasers up this weekend. :)

what are you doing for heating and cooling the system? Do you have an inline heater and if so what type and a little description would be awesome. I have a 1000 as well here in Texas and have 2hhp heat exchanger but no heat set up yet.
Here is FTS before corals introduced about 3 months ago.

I plan on putting an inline in shortly but there just a bunch of heaters in the sump at this point. Cooling is handled via 2HP Artica chiller outside under the deck.
