Pix & ID: Critters that come in your rocks: the good and the bad.

Hey forum.

If I can get help with these two, that would be great.

I have a worm. Only got the tail of it since I can barely find it at night with 60lbs of live rock I have. LFS says its okay. Won't harm. But open to second opinion.

Second. Discovered this last night. Another worm, same breed as the one above from the looks of it. It came out the sand, made this ball of web and my snails starting having a buffet. The ball was formed before in a previous time but I ignored thinking it was from moving sand and re arranging live rock.

Here's the other ball.

Any help would be great. Thanks

Well, I think I see some sponge in there, but I can't tell anything really. Can you put bigger pics in there?

Totally up to you whether you think it's ok or not. I started with 2 or 3 that I apparently missed in a frag and now have at least a dozen several months later. They like to get in my zoas and irritate them LOL. Most have chosen to move to dark spots where there's no coral, though.
