How about the following in a JBJ 28g Nano and in what order if possible:

Firefish Goby
Randall's Goby
Rainford Goby
Royal Gramma
Ocellaris Clown or a mated pair of clowns

Thanks

Hi there,

I currently have a 35 gallon saltwater tank with 38lbs of LR and a 2 1/2" - 3" sand bed, a HOB 5 gallon refugium (mineral mud / dry sand, cheato & GFO media), I also have a protein skimmer and two power heads.

My current live stock consists of....

2 Ocellaris Clown fish (1 Orange and 1 Black and white)
1 Firefish, purple
1 Fire Shrimp
1 Cleaner Shrimp
1 Yellow watchman goby

Since my tank still isn't a year old I'm going to want to add a Manderin Goby once I do reach that mark.

With that said I would like to add another fish but one that will swim through the whole tank and through the rocks which we've aquescaped. I friend suggested a six line wrasse but I've been reading that they have been know to eat the ornamental shrimp. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Your odds of success with this fish in your sized tank are very low

As those who follow this thread know, I do not provide suggestions (for a variety of reasons) but I would be happy to comment on any revisions you wish commentary on.

Stocking 125 gallon tank

Stocking 125 gallon tank

30 gallon sump
Skimmer rated for 220 gallon tank

Will this stocking plan work?

1 Blue Tang (Paracanthurus hepatus)
1 Coral Beauty Angelfish (Centropyge bispinosa)
1 Flame Angelfish (Centropyge loriculus)
1 Neon Dottyback - Tank-Bred (Pseudochromis aldabraensis)
1 Sailfin/Algae Blenny (Salarias fasciatus)
2 Ocellaris Clownfish, Tank Bred (Amphiprion ocellaris)
5 Firefish (Nemateleotris magnifica)
4 Zebra Barred Dartfish (Ptereleotris zebra)

1 Flame Angelfish (Centropyge loriculus)
1 Neon Dottyback - Tank-Bred (Pseudochromis aldabraensis) Pseudochromis are normally very aggressive, it may be a problem
1 Sailfin/Algae Blenny (Salarias fasciatus)
2 Ocellaris Clownfish, Tank Bred (Amphiprion ocellaris)
5 Firefish (Nemateleotris magnifica) Normally only a M/F pair will survive long term; perhaps if aquascaped into territories, two pairs may work.
4 Zebra Barred Dartfish (Ptereleotris zebra)

I currently have a purple firefish, pajama cardinal, hifin banded goby & pistol shrimp in a 30 gallon tank. I saw a yellow tail reef chromis on divers den and would like to add one as my last fish. Thanks for your thoughts about this.

That should be fine.

First thanks for taking the time to answer my question :wavehand:. I was thinking of adding a six line wrasse but have heard that they will make an expensive lunch out of my shrimp which I'm very found of.

Sixline wrasses are very aggressive fish. I would not trust them with small shrimp.

I have a 36g bowfront tank/Fluval 306 filter/30lbs of live rock/No sump/No Skimmer. I have had the tank running for about a week, LFS owner told me to get 5 snails and 5 hermits, so I did. LFS also filled my tank with 36g of water from their est. 250g reef tank. Plan on making this a reef tank, Don't know if I am in a good or bad starting position, tank seems to be cycling well for now. So......

Actual Inhabitants:
5 snails
5 hermits
(Noticed a bunch of new creatures coming out of the LR, have a few things that look like slugs, I noticed some worms(white with spiny things) a couple tiny starfish, and some tiny shrimp looking creatures that are very fast and I only saw them at night)

Wish List:
2 clowns
six line wrasse
fire shrimp
royal gramma basslet
firefish
watchman goby
assorted corals
(looking for a good assortment of color, yet I don't want to overstock not sure if this is too much or I can go more, all info appreciated)

Looking for some feedback on my stocking plan for our 29g biocube

in order of adding:

Linckia Sea Star, Blue (Linckia laevigata) with the clean up crew
Yellow Watchman Goby & Pistol Shrimp
Two Black & White Ocellaris (Amphiprion ocellaris)
Purple Dottyback (Pseudochromis porphyreus)

Thoughts?

Long time listener, first time caller. I have a 60x36x18 170g tank I'm cycling right now. So not terribly long but almost as much sq footage as a standard dimension 240g (15sqft as opposed to 16) I have the following;
1. One spot FF 3 1/2-4"
2. Mag FF 4"
3. Chevron T 3-3 1/2"
4. Blue T 1 1/2-2"
Looking to add
1. Blue jaw/throat trigger.
2. 3 purple tangs OR 2 more Chevrons
I have an H&S skimmer rated for 220g but will be purchasing a skimmer that will more than keep up with bio load.
My questions are-
1. Is this list ok?
2. If it is, would there be room for any small, schooling fish?

May have been missed.

May have been missed.

I am looking to add 3 small Pajama cardinals to my tank as well as 2-3 small Hippo Tangs. This is a mixed reef system in a 90 gallon tank. All of my corals are frags with the exception of the Wellso. Looking for any suggestions as to compatibility. I would also like to add an angel some time soon but know that most are not reef safe, any suggestions on this species?

My current tank has the following inhabitants:

2 small yellow tail damsels
1 small/med blue fin damsel
1 small/med Hippo Tang (intend to catch and place in sump prior to introducing the other 2)
Coral Banded star small
Green Serpent star Large
2 Peppermint shrimps

As for corals I have the following:
Frog Spawn
Hammer
Wellso Brain,
Zoas
Favia
Umbrella
Star polyps

Slightly changing plan. Want to check it again.

75 gallon w/ live rock
29 gallon sump/refugium
Want it to be a reef with beginner corals

2 Ocellaris Clownfish
1 Royal Gamma
1 Yellow Watchman Goby
1 Banggai Cardinalfish
1 Longfin Fairy Wrasse
1 Kole Yellow Eye Tang
1 Green Mandarin

2 Skunk Cleaner Shrimp
Lots of Snails

Not looking to add more, but how am I for bioload? I'm thinking its pretty maxed out. Might take out the Cardinalfish if it is one the high side.

Thanks
