Think I've decided what I want to keep in my 90g mixed reef finally, hoping everything will be okay together, though my puffers can be a wildcard.

2 Green Spotted Puffers
1 Flame Hawk
1 Red Head Solon Fairy Wrasse
1 Lawnmower Blenney
1 Tomatoe Clown

Ignoring my wild card puffers is the above combination going to be okay? Will the Flame Hawkfish leave the blenney alone?

If I had all of the above how would you rate the bioload? Any chance I'd be able to pair up the clown without causing problems?

Difficult to rate the bioload as the puffers eat a lot and waste a lot. Hawkfish and blenny should be fine. You can probably pair the clown but that is a very aggressive species once sexually mature

Okay I have a 55 gallon tank (still setting up), and I want to try and get a head start on choosing which fish I want. The tank will be FOWLR, but I may add a few zoas and mushrooms possibly down the road
Fish I am thinking about:
2 Picasso clown fish (I may stick with oscellaris)
3 Green Chromis
1 Sixline wrasse
1 Possible dwarf angel (Flame Angel possibly)
1 or 2 Diamond Gobys
1 Royal Gamma
1/2 Firefish

I know that is a really crowded tank, and I do not plan on purchasing all of them. Just thoughts/opinions/experience on which ones would go best together?

**I would like some inverts, but where do I go to ask on what types and how many (Plus to find out how many snails/hermit crabs I may need)**

3 Green Chromis will likely reduce to one or two
1 Sixline wrasse very aggressive
1 Possible dwarf angel (Flame Angel possibly)
1 or 2 Diamond Gobys only one
1 Royal Gamma
1/2 Firefish two only if M+F pair

A separate thread in New to the Hobby will get many responses

55g fowlr 50 or 60 lbs of live rock 40 or 50 lbs of live sand.

so far hermit crab, feather duster, and I just added a snow flak eel.

future plans are one or two small angel fish and maybe one colorful fish open to suggestion

Sorry, I do not make suggestions about small tanks with eels. I recommend asking here.

Well, I got most of my list only substituting a corris wrasse.

Can I do a LM Goby in a 60g tank (3 month old) with the diamond goby (and the rest of the list)? If yes, what can you supliment him with as far as food of there is not much algae?

Pair of Ocellaris Clowns
Diamond Gobby or an orange spotted gobby
Dispar Anthia
Firefish
Leopard Wrasse (corris wrasse)

Ok I have a fish question situation. It deals more with the present than the future, so I would like your advice on what will or will not kill my new fish.

I bought a Blotched Anthias. I have been waiting forever to get one, so I am really excited. I took tomorrow off of work so that I can be there to begin acclimation and not let the little guy sit on the porch in the cold :(

What I need to know, is what in my tank might be aggressive towards it so I can move them to a different tank.

The current tank is a 180 reef tank and does not have any issues with fighting etc currently. I have a good amount of LPS corals, but no SPS. Lighting is T5 ATI Sunpower.

Current Fish:

1 Blue Hippo Tang- 2 inches
1 Yellow Tang- 6 inches
1 Sailfin Tang- 7 inches
3 Bengai Cardinals- Med Size
1 Pajama Cardinal- Med Size
2 Ocellaris clowns- Small/ Med
1 Blue Spot Jawfish
1 Flame Angel
2 Tri Color Anthias- 3 inches
1 Sun Burst Anthias- 1 inch
Yellow Watchmen Goby (Lives under a rock with a pistol shrimp and I see the them maybe once a month?

I think my biggest concern is if the tri color anthias will bother him? But any insight would be appreciated.

I think that when my 110gal FOWLR tank finally finish cycling, I'll add:

first
4x ocellaris clowns

then
1x blue tang
1x yellow tang

then
1x cleaner shrimp

any recommendations on other animal(s)?

I have about 30 pounds of live rock and 20 pound of dead rock, a protein skimmer not in a sump(I don't have the room), and a canister filter. EDIT: I forgot about the 70+ pounds of sand(20/80 of crushed coral and play sand)

I don't think I'll be putting any more than 10 fish in the tank unless I find a place for a sump tank(and until I patch the giant hole in my wallet)

I am always most concerned with tangs when introducing new fish. In order the yellow, then the sailfin. The anthias may temporarily react but I think it may only be temporary. The more fish, the greater the probability of reaction. When fish feel "cramped", they try to solve that problem by eliminating new comers.

4x ocellaris clowns will become two sooner rather than later as they sexually mature or even before

then
1x blue tang If that is a hepatus tang it will outgrow your tank
1x yellow tang

then
1x cleaner shrimp Depends on the other fish, may be a problem

Common names are hard enough for me without putting acronyms in as well. A LM Goby is?? Algae can be supplemented with nori

A leopard wrasse is not a coris wrasse. What is the question?

new fish

Kudos to your pet store person. I a
m indeed impressed. No tang in your sized tank but there are many other good options for small interesting fish. However, I don't really offer recommendations as our tastes are likely to be different. Do some research, come up with a stocking plan, and I will happily provide commentary on compatibility.
OK so I've looked at some diiferent fish and what do you think of these to go in my 55G FO tank. Already have small pair of tank bread clowns and a cardinal (see post #781). Im not Usually forums and really don't know what I'm doing. It took me forever to figure out where my original post was. So any hints on how all that works would be great.
Also how soon can I add more fish? I put these three in on Sunday and tested last night and my ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates are all 0. I would have thought it would have spiked a little or has it not been enough time

These questions would be best as a separate thread in the New to the Hobby forum. It is not feasible for me to go back to post nnn, so sorry. This thread is about fish compatibility.

Sorry about that,I thought I had put my fish suggestions on that post but I realize I didnt. I am wondering if a six line wrasse and a dwarf angelfish would be OK in my 55 g FO. Currently I have a small pair of clowns and a cardinal

Should be fine. However a sixline will limit your choices going forward.
