Yellow Clown Goby x 1
Fire Shrimp x 2
Peppermint shrimp x 1
Red mithrax crab x 1
Astrea snails
Nassarius snails
hermit scarlet legged crab x 2

Some softies and LPS corals

Planning to add more active colorful fishes to the tank- Reef safe and not aggressive to each other.

Would the following be good options?
Citron clown goby multiple clown gobies won't work
Green clown goby
Court jester goby/ Hectors goby- either one not both either would be fine
Orange spotted goby/ randalls goby- either one not both either is comparable behavior wise
Midas Blenny can nip fins of planktivores
Pgymy wrasse- one of them excellent fish, highly recommended
Flasher Warsse- one of them really needs a larger tank due to activity level, but may marginally work in this sized tank
yasha white ray shrimp goby excellent fish, but only one commensal shrimp/goby pairing in this sized tank
Candy cane pistol shrimp alpheus randall

No, requirements are the same or more rigorous depending on how aggressive.

2 picasso clownfish

I have an opportunity to pick up a male/female pair of M. kuiteri wrasses. I know they are a good leopard wrasse but don't want to cause an issue with the mandarin.

The tank is a 90 gallon with about 80lbs of live rock. The mandarin is nice and fat and healthy haven't had any problems there. I do have a decent sized refugium in the sump aswell. you think they would be ok to add or not?

I also have a 210 gallon tank that i'm currently nearing the finishes to get up and going.

Based on personal experiences, they are likely to have a problem with the mandarin. It is not an issue of feeding only, although that will also become an issue. I would put them in the large tank, and feed PE mysis and nutramar ova multiple times per day until the tank is established.

I am guessing now . . . since leopard wrasses and mandarins are in virtually the same ecological niche, it may likely be the the leopards antagonize the mandarin.

i have a 180 main tank with a 55 for a sump that houses a etss reef devil deluxe skimmer. i have roughly 200 pounds of live rock and gonna put about 2 inches of crushed coral in for substrate. its a new tank so i havent done that yet. anyway im planning on...mandrian draggonet, tricolor fairy wrasse, orchid dottyback, pair of ocilleris clows, yellow tang, pacific blue tang, yellow headed jawfish, dwarf flame angel, pair of blue gudgeon dartfish and a small school of green chromis...plus i do plan on some crabs, snails and the like as it will be a mixed reef.

while this is not the subject of this thread, I suggest sand rather than crushed coral

plus i do plan on some crabs, snails crabs kill snails, so I suggest either crabs or snails and the like as it will be a mixed reef.

I am starting my first tank as we speak. My husband has been in the hobby for a while now but I like to hear as much advice as I can get, seeing as Im new and all...anyway, its a 20 gallon long, with an aquaclear 70 filter in the back (future refugium??, POSSIBLY upgrade to a small sump later down the road), one (hand me down from my husbands tank) powerhead- the brand I have no idea, but he recommended I save up for a wp10(or mp10) in the future, which I will. Lighting; I am planning on purchasing an Evergrow
d120 fixture (my hubby has kessils and T5s, however I cannot justify the cost for how I feel they look comparatively , and my size of a tank/budget). I have a structure of dry rock in the tank (waiting to be cycled and seeded by hubbys live rock, not sure how many lbs) and Aragonite sand.
The fish I am interested in are:
Red Scooter Dragonette (LFS has scooters that eat frozen foods)
Catalina Goby
Purple firefish
Pompom crab
Skunk cleaner shrimp
Pistol/goby pair
I'm certainly not planning on putting all those critters in a tank this size but which of these and how many of these would work in my tank??
Obviously the scooter needs a more established environment(correct?) so he would be a final addition?
The firefish is my favorite fish out everything Ive seen, and I picked the goby because I love the color and behavior of the "perching" fish (husband has a bicolor blenny Im in love with).

Any fish that is primarily a copepod eater which includes leopard wrasses, anampses wrasses, etc. which is not to say that they will not eat supplied frozen food, because they will. However this type of fish grazes off of available amphipods and copepods.

Catalina Goby needs cooler water
Purple firefish excellent

35G 20X20X20 with 40B sump. 51 gallons total system volume as measured when I first set the tank up. Rock went down directly on the glass then added enough southdown sand left over from tank teardown 6 years ago to look nice . . probably 1/2 to 1 inch depth average. So far I have 1 molly (acclimated to salt water by local coral farm, AMAZING algae eater). Also have a lawnmower blennie, 12 Astraea snails, 4 nassarius snails, and 1 emerald crab. Not sure what else I will be adding as this is/will be an SPS tank mostly. Each creature added will have a purpose. At some point I would like to keep a mandarin goby and yes, I know the unsuccess rate of them. I would never put an animal in my aquarium that I can not take proper care of so the mandarin will probably never go in. I have read Paul B's thread on keeping mandarins and his feeder he made out of the electrical tape canister. Very ingenious and I would have something like this before I would even consider putting in a mandarin. I have been out of the hobby for a while but I have a lot of experience so I know about mandarins. I like six line wrasse but that would decimate the pods and starve a mandarin so I'll have to make a decision there some day. May go with the obligatory pair of clowns. Strong filtration with 2 WP-10, probably close to 100 pounds of LR between DT and sump. Macro algae in sump for nitrate/phosphate removal. Euroreef CS6-1 skimmer left over from my last tank teardown about 7 years ago and an OR Arctic SR026 LED fixture . . thinking about putting in a 14k 175W halide I have left over from the last teardown as well. LEDs look good but just can't get the same color intensity as a halide. Coral growth is excellent so I guess it is just a matter of preference.

Anyway, I'm open to suggestions as to what else would be compatible in this tank. I haven't given as much thought to the fish as the corals.

As those who follow this thread know, I do not provide recommendations for a variety of reasons. However I am always happy to review any stocking list provided tank size and maturity are also provided.

I have a 375 gallon bow front. It has a nice almost 100 gallon sump to add volume. The tank is 2 months old and fully cycled. There are some rocks to hide etc.for various fish that I intend to stock. Here is my list. I plan to make the best of all types. Tell me I m not extreme nuts..
