Hi Steve,
Setting up a 28g nano with 30lbs live rock and standard cuc. Plans are for some zoas and mushrooms eventually.
I know its a crapshoot regarding "reef safe" with dwarf Angels, but i want to try either a Multi-color or maybe a Potter's angel - is one a better choice than the other?
I have had two multicolors, one reef safe, the other not. Gorgeous fish, however. Potter's is less likely to work.
I am thinking a yellow watchman goby/pistol shrimp pair. Can I also add a Court Jester goby as well, or is it 1 goby max?
they operate in slightly different ecological niches so you may be ok
Assuming the dwarf Angel and goby pistol combo (and possibly the court jester goby) are good, can I add any combination of the following to this group?
Purple firefish - too similar in shape/size to gobys? will they fight?
May work if established first but is a prolific jumper
McCoskers wrasse - is the tank big enough? will possibly intimidate your firefish and is a prolific jumper as well
Neon Dottyback - too aggresive for the gobys? Much too aggressive, especially in a small tank.
Evans Anthias - tank big enough? I have read everything from 20 gallon to 75 gallon min.
Tank is too small and this fish is difficult as it needs multiple feedings per day of very small meaty food
Ideally, I'd love to have the Angel, goby/shrimp combo, wrasse and dottyback, but i'm not sure if that is too much?
I think you could have about 5 smallish fish if they were compatible
Thanks in advance for your opinions - I really apprecaite it!
