Hi, I am in the process of setting up a new 93 gallon tank. The tank is: bare bottom, will be stocked with sps corals 20 gallon sump 85 pounds live rock. I have some fish that are new and will be adding fish from a 7 year old display.
2 small Picasso Percula Clownfish (Amphiprion percula) -- in display tank 2 weeks
3 medium sized Bartlett's Anthias (Pseudanthias bartlettorum)-- in display tank 3 weeks
1 ORA® Randall's Assessor (Assessor randalli) less than 1 inch -- coming out of QT will be moved to display
I would like to add the following fish
2 or 3 Randall's Assessor (still need to purchase and will be less than 1 inch ) more than one will not work
1 Yellow Tang - Hawaii (Zebrasoma flavescens) will be moved from old display needs a larger tank
1 Sailfin Tang (Zebrasoma veliferum) will be moved from old display needs a much larger tank
1 Mystery wrasse he is in old display tank he did not bother the Picasso clownfish which were added a few years after mystery wrasse was established in old display tank. Mystery wrasse did go after small Bartlett Anthias added recently to old display. If he did not like them, he will not like other anthias; mystery wrasses are on the aggressive side towards similars (or those perceived as similars)
Small Bartlett were removed in less than 2 hours and given to a friend when Mystery showed aggression. Mystery wrasse was housed with the tangs and Picassos previously, they go along well. I am thinking he will be fine with the medium sized anthias which are closer to his size, 80% to 95% his size, and already in the new display tank. Planning to add tangs than assessors than Mystery wrasse last.
Will this work? see comments above
